    Excellent set of tips. The Q can present some quirky performances. Not faults or bad design, but simply obscure setting combinations that make manual intentions awkward to achieve. Leica users historically have had limited menu settings to contend with. Thanks for sharing.

    I noticed that thing about exposure compensation in M mode too. Honestly I like it a lot. Metering in Q is superb, so I guess they done that so you dont have to worry about exposure comp, so it feels more like film camera. And second, I dont see a problem to fix exposure later in camera raw.

    Great tips for a new leica q user like me. Esp the exp comp tip. Fabulous shots of Boston too!

    On the Q2 in 2021 the focus point can be re-centred by a quick double-tap of the touchscreen. It may work on earlier Q cameras and firmware. Try it.

    This is the best tips I have seen, so simple and straightforward. Is there any chance that you can also show how to use the Bracketting combining it with User Profile? Thanks.

    I hope they fix the tracking. It's strange that when it tracks something, it leaves the focus point where the tracked object was.
    I also use the shortest power save modes. It's quick!

    I never use exposure compensation. You can use the histogram which allows you to expose im a most precise way.

    Instead of scrolling though the menu for the first tip, wouldn't it have made more sense just to simply keep your finger on the FN button? You can access those key function changes like exposure that way much quicker.

    Hi there, I am having issue with wifi connectivity of my LeicaQ on iPhone5s iOS 9.2.1 any suggestions?

    • @BoyInFancySuit
      @BoyInFancySuit Před 8 lety

      +Negar Hamid On iPhone 6 works great and with no problem. Just follow instructions and this is it. Check all the latest updates, for app, phone and for Leica Q.

    • @negarhmd6834
      @negarhmd6834 Před 8 lety

      +Roman Arkhipov I have all the updates, however no connections between the two.

    • @BoyInFancySuit
      @BoyInFancySuit Před 8 lety

      +Negar Hamid I suggest write or address this issue directly to Leica then. I would try this...borrow the iphone from friend, iphone 6 if possible and download the app on their phone and try to connect. If its not going to work then probably wi-fi module on Q doesn't work right.

      +Negar Hamid Good luck! My model was made feb.2/2016. And its comes with firmware 1.1 already. I connect it with first try just by scanning code from Q using the phone. If you still on warranty and something wrong connection, send email to your closest Leica dealer so can get fix that problem. Hope everything will be ok without any warranty involved.
