Oh Lordy me too! To keep from sounding hypochondriac I'll just say 2x arthritis and fibro... Iv suffered with it most of my life but thought it was in my head. I'm not educated because disability took that too...so good Dr's don't take i.o.yous,lol Iv been to Dr's and even on s.s.disability. I have nobody to help with anything so it piles up quickly and I live with guilt. I do keep my cooking and bath area clean, the rest???? Yea. This Angel helps with that a little bit. Seems God is my only hope, but it's feels like waiting to die? I guess it's how it feels anyhoo... God bless all of you in this comment.

I'm 59 (in my head I still feel and act 30 lol) However, my body feels like it's 80 some days lol. I am a third of the way through painting a room using your timer method, I work for around ten to fifteen minutes then rest for as long as it takes. I use it for everything around the house and I'm constantly amazed at what I can get done in ten minutes, the result is that I no longer sit, aching all over and feeling guilty because so much needs doing. Corny or not, it has literally transformed my life. No more guilt trips, just 'I'll do a bit of that in my next ten minutes'. ❤
I agree. I'm a few years older than you with chronic pain and I do a little bit every day. In fact, it took me a week to Spring clean my kitchen including pulling out oven and frig and cleaning inside and out all cabinets and drawers including replacing shelf liners. But I did it little by little then rest then do more. It feels so good knowing it's all clean. And I get some exercise while I'm at it 💜💙💚💛💛
I’m also 59 years old, I used to wake up like a bouncy rubber band and now I am in pain all over 😂yikes! 😊Stretching is definitely the order of each day❤I do a lot of organizing and straightening up the house and things daily and I am the mother of two boys. My firstborn is house 40 years old this month and lives out in the suburbs and my 15year old lives with me, in the city and cleaning and organizing never ends thus women always work harder than men.😊

I like a clean home; however, after a near fatal event in my life with my husband, I realized living life is way more important. It has truly changed my perspective. Loved the video. Ditto, unless you have a hired cleaning service like a friend of mine. I've been to their house the night before the cleaners show up and they just let everything go, such a mess! But then I guess when they get home in the evening from work it's magically gone! Must be nice😉
24 weeks pregnant with my first and had the same thought. Way to go Kim! Can't imagine having 4 kids, being pregnant again and high kicking/finding the energy to do all that.
I needed a Kim video today. I dreamt about my grandfather and I woke up crying like a baby. He’s been gone for 23 years but man! Dreaming about him took me right back to when he was alive. 😞 Thank goodness my husband didn’t have to be at work until later. He heard me crying and came running. My family has always said that my husband is just like my grandfather, and I’m so thankful for that. ❤️

We have a similar skinny ‘cabinet’ at my in laws (in Sweden 🇸🇪) that has bars to hang dish clothes. . . Couldn’t see if there were any hanging devices in yours but maybe?
Usually narrow tall cabinets like that make me think cookie sheet pans. We had one in my childhood house. Now, I store mine in my oven bottom "warmer" drawer cause I don't have one of those cabinets.
A clean house is such a comforting feeling - even for five minutes! 😃 You have dark cabinets in your kitchen so your dark entertainment center balances that side of the space. 💝

After 26 marriage and brown couches, second hand couches, and raising 3 kids, I told myself I will be getting a new sofa. I invested in ‘sactionals’ sofas and I have been so happy with my light cream sofa. I love it, yes it’s pricey but you will have it for ever. 10 out 10 I recommend. I love essential oils. I have so many it's hard to choose which one I like the best. I also add a few drops to my laundry balls & it makes my laundry smell spectacular. P.S. I keep them in a decorative box with leather handles I got from Michael's.

KIM!! This week I’ve been cleaning my entire apartment because we’re moving to a new state. When I say that I spent about 5 hours cleaning my kitchen alone, I’m not lying 🤦🏽♀️ I’m 7 months pregnant and it was not easy. Just looking back on it, I was quite ashamed to record before and afters because it was just that disgusting lol. BUT, when I finished omg I felt relieved and I called everyone in my contacts to show them my clean kitchen 😭 but trust me my home will NEVER be that terrible again and I will be cleaning just like you. 💛🙌🏼😇

I’ve seen some people on Instagram have couches from Rooms to Go and there are sectionals that have pull out/pull up (like a trundle bed!) sleeper couches and they are so cool! It makes like a GIANT couch!

Just replaced our washing machine over the Father’s Day weekend and thought of you the entire time. Such a pain! Out of nowhere ours started doing the exact same thing as yours. Ended up getting this Samsung one and it’s the most beautiful thing I currently own in my house lol!!

Kim’s Cleaning Service did great work as always 🤗Yes I did research too (not to sound like a nerd🙄) on the e-cloths and what I’ve gathered out of all that I read is it REMOVES MOST bacteria (not viruses) off surfaces and when you rinse it in hot water it releases almost all of the dirt, bacteria, grease, etc. off. You should hand or machine wash them after each cleaning session, dry with low heat or hang dry, no fabric softener. They are better quality than your typical microfiber cloths too in regards to the type of fibers they have. I give them a 👍🏻 in my book!! 🙋🏻♀️
My guess for the drawer since it's right next to the sink and dishwasher is that it was used for extra sponges, scrub brushes, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. Great video!
I’ve noticed whenever my oils are on their sides they seem to leak, so I try to keep them on a shelf where they don’t fall over. My favorite brand is Plant Therapy!! I haven’t tried Eden’s Garden, but I know a lot of people who like one usually like the other as well.

Kim have you considered having your bed and sideboard painted white? It would look gorgeous in that beautiful bedroom. Secondly, the triangle shelf you used in your old home would be lovely on the wall to the right hand side of the sinks. Have you thought about a built in white entertainment centre? That would be ideal in your living room, open shelves so no hiding the clutter lol. Large hamper baskets and trunks are brilliant for hiding away clutter and look good too.
I split this video up between the last two mornings drinking coffee before work and it gave me the energy and motivation I needed to get my day started!
Just a thought, you were going to add 2 bedrooms onto the house. Could you just take the media room, add a wall in the middle and two doors and create bedrooms for your two oldest daughters? Also add a shower to the upstairs bathroom. Then you could use their old bedrooms for the new baby and Meredith. Then use the Meredith's bedroom as the office. I just renovated my whole house during the pandemic because a very large tree fell on it, so didn't have a choice. It was a nightmare!! The delay's and costs and what's coming up in the fall with supplies is unreal. You think the new couches were a pain, and the delay's just getting the permits for the construction, that will be nothing compared to the construction your planning.

I have the same Dyson you have. 15 minutes and it’s done. I had shopped and read reviews on every stick vacuum and found a different one and put it on my wish list at amazon. my husband, instead of paying attention to what I wanted, bought this thing. I complained to him that we needed to return it because it stops after 15 minutes and he told me to use it on low power. I told him to use his leaf blower on low power and see how he likes that.
Im currently 31 weeks pregnant. If I were to kick my leg up like that I would never be able to walk again!! I have this awful pubic sympasis disorder not fun!! You go girl with all that energy and flexibility so jealous of how good you feel!!

Have you thought of a gray couch?? I like to change out the pillow. Cases for a different look . The fabric ultra suede and microfiber is so easy to stay clean.

Omg!!! Money Pit!!!! We redid an 1896 house that was so intense!!! (When I was married!!) That movie is so on point!!!! Even funnier AFTER you’re through renovating and updating!! Now the 1974 house I’m in has needed more repairs. So weird!! Also, the weird skinny cabinet was most likely the cabinet designer’s way to fill an odd area. “I have a 6” space we could put a faux front on or add this little rack you can put things in.”

I love your house so much and I love the fact that you are so real about mom life and the real messes that come with it. You do have the rest of your life to get the furniture and decor you want for your home it’s not a race, the things that you love for your home will eventually jump out at you as you’re going about life. I found myself buying things to fill spaces and later getting rid of them because the stuff I truly loved came along later unexpectedly without me looking for them. Give yourself time and keep feeling out your home and how you want it to function for you.

Hey Kim. I saw a Tik tok where this sweet lady used Velcro command strips on her rugs. And hot glued or gorilla glued one to her rug and one to the floor that way she can pull her rug up while she cleaned. Haven’t done it myself but it looked really effective.

Hi Kim! Love you and your energy.... Just want to comment on that kitchen cabinet. I had a few of those put in my kitchen when we remodeled to access as much space as possible. I have a narrow one like yours with a metal peg board where we keep a step stool and added a hook for a whisk brush and hook for gloves. SO handy for a small kitchen. We have another with shelves for cleaners and another for bottles. Without a pull on it, it's a great place to hide things, I would imagine!

After 26 marriage and brown couches, second hand couches, and raising 3 kids, I told myself I will be getting a new sofa. I invested in ‘sactionals’ sofas and I have been so happy with my light cream sofa. I love it, yes it’s pricey but you will have it for ever. 10 out 10 I recommend. Also love watching you and you really make me smile! Thank you for that!

I love essential oils. I have so many it's hard to choose which one I like the best. I also add a few drops to my laundry balls & it makes my laundry smell spectacular. P.S. I keep them in a decorative box with leather handles I got from Michael's.

Kim, I’d be embarrassed to tell you how many times I’ve rewatched this video. But there is one thing that you said that cracks me up every time I watch this. You were cleaning your w/c and were using those wipes (not the cloths) and you said,”There was crap all over the walls. How does that even happen?” It’s hysterical! KIM!! This week I’ve been cleaning my entire apartment because we’re moving to a new state. When I say that I spent about 5 hours cleaning my kitchen alone, I’m not lying 🤦🏽♀️ I’m 7 months pregnant and it was not easy. Just looking back on it, I was quite ashamed to record before and afters because it was just that disgusting lol. BUT, when I finished omg I felt relieved and I called everyone in my contacts to show them my clean kitchen 😭 but trust me my home will NEVER be that terrible again and I will be cleaning just like you. 💛🙌🏼😇

I’ve seen some people on Instagram have couches from Rooms to Go and there are sectionals that have pull out/pull up (like a trundle bed!) sleeper couches and they are so cool! It makes like a GIANT couch!

Just replaced our washing machine over the Father’s Day weekend and thought of you the entire time. Such a pain! Out of nowhere ours started doing the exact same thing as yours. Ended up getting this Samsung one and it’s the most beautiful thing I currently own in my house lol!!

Kim’s Cleaning Service did great work as always 🤗Yes I did research too (not to sound like a nerd🙄) on the e-cloths and what I’ve gathered out of all that I read is it REMOVES MOST bacteria (not viruses) off surfaces and when you rinse it in hot water it releases almost all of the dirt, bacteria, grease, etc. off. You should hand or machine wash them after each cleaning session, dry with low heat or hang dry, no fabric softener. They are better quality than your typical microfiber cloths too in regards to the type of fibers they have. I give them a 👍🏻 in my book!! 🙋🏻♀️

My guess for the drawer since it's right next to the sink and dishwasher is that it was used for extra sponges, scrub brushes, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. Great video!
I’ve noticed whenever my oils are on their sides they seem to leak, so I try to keep them on a shelf where they don’t fall over. My favorite brand is Plant Therapy!! I haven’t tried Eden’s Garden, but I know a lot of people who like one usually like the other as well.

Have you thought about a built in white entertainment centre? That would be ideal in your living room, open shelves so no hiding the clutter lol.
Large hamper baskets and trunks are brilliant for hiding away clutter and look good too.

Just a thought, you were going to add 2 bedrooms onto the house. Could you just take the media room, add a wall in the middle and two doors and create bedrooms for your two oldest daughters? Also add a shower to the upstairs bathroom. Then you could use their old bedrooms for the new baby and Meredith. Then use the Meredith's bedroom as the office. I just renovated my whole house during the pandemic because a very large tree fell on it, so didn't have a choice. It was a nightmare!! The delay's and costs and what's coming up in the fall with supplies is unreal. You think the new couches were a pain, and the delay's just getting the permits for the construction, that will be nothing compared to the construction your planning.

I have the same Dyson you have. 15 minutes and it’s done. I had shopped and read reviews on every stick vacuum and found a different one and put it on my wish list at amazon. my husband, instead of paying attention to what I wanted, bought this thing. I complained to him that we needed to return it because it stops after 15 minutes and he told me to use it on low power. I told him to use his leaf blower on low power and see how he likes that.
Im currently 31 weeks pregnant. If I were to kick my leg up like that I would never be able to walk again!! I have this awful pubic sympasis disorder not fun!! You go girl with all that energy and flexibility so jealous of how good you feel!!
There are physical therapists that specialize in pelvic issues. Might help?

Have you thought of a gray couch?? I like to change out the pillow. Cases for a different look . The fabric ultra suede and microfiber is so easy to stay clean.
We have a blue/gray couch and matching chair and I LOVE the color! It doesn’t make the room look dark and gloomy. That color would look great with the lake in the background! Just a thought!

I love your house so much and I love the fact that you are so real about mom life and the real messes that come with it. You do have the rest of your life to get the furniture and decor you want for your home it’s not a race, the things that you love for your home will eventually jump out at you as you’re going about life. I found myself buying things to fill spaces and later getting rid of them because the stuff I truly loved came along later unexpectedly without me looking for them. Give yourself time and keep feeling out your home and how you want it to function for you.

Hey Kim. I saw a Tik tok where this sweet lady used Velcro command strips on her rugs. And hot glued or gorilla glued one to her rug and one to the floor that way she can pull her rug up while she cleaned. Haven’t done it myself but it looked really effective.

Shark Uplight vacuum is amazing! I don't think its available any more, but Amy Darley is testing a new one thats similar and supposed to post her thoughts on it soon. Hi Kim! Love you and your energy.... Just want to comment on that kitchen cabinet. I had a few of those put in my kitchen when we remodeled to access as much space as possible. I have a narrow one like yours with a metal peg board where we keep a step stool and added a hook for a whisk brush and hook for gloves. SO handy for a small kitchen. We have another with shelves for cleaners and another for bottles. Without a pull on it, it's a great place to hide things, I would imagine!
