As a former member of the Sea Chanters (1st tenor 1966-1970) I am delighted to see the group performing this kind of piece. (We were once criticized by one of the higher-ups for singing a great arrangement of "What Shall We Do With a Drunken Sailor"!) I am honored more and more to have once sung with the Sea Chanters. Thank you all for keeping us proud.
You have to be proud. They are awsome with any song. And they helped us to go through this awful time.

Have not missed one day since Jan.8 2020 listening to the Navy Sea Chanters on Utube. They are the best. When will we be seeing new videos again? I did just see a few. Hopefully they will be back. Has anyone left the group and who is new?

I remember when I was in the military band, we were playing a concert with a choir of old men that only sang sea shantys. Wish they had something refreshing like this to mix it up with :-)
