    Damn.. the nostalgia is freaking real. I love old 3DG with Adam. New guy just doesn’t cut it for me. Adam’s voice is one of the best voices in modern post grunge. Also a great joint to check out will be Saint Asonia, it’s the band of the guy who’s singing in this video, Adam Gontier. Also if u want some good 3DG suggestions - Never Too Late or Pain are absolute bangers.

    My favorite by Three Days Grace is “Animal I Have Become”. Mostly because I can relate. This song is about his struggle with addiction to opiates. I can definitely relate because, I myself have struggled with the same thing, as well as other addictions. (Only my opinion), but I feel everybody struggles with some form of addiction(s), weather it be sex, drugs, alcohol, tattoos, food, etc…

    The guitar effect is probably a tremolo pedal (but could have some reverb or chorus going as well) to raise/lower the volume rapidly like that.

    • @AlchemyfromAshes
      @AlchemyfromAshes Před 2 lety +2

      I agree with Devin, pretty sure it's a tremolo pedal. It's a change in volume rather than a pitch change (vibrato pedal). Most tremolo pedals allow you to adjust the speed and depth of the volume difference. Reverb is essentially a delay caused by bouncing off of surfaces in a space. It would cause a "smearing" of the sound rather than the distinct/clear rhythm heard here.

    Unbelievable that they bleeped the word "hit."
    A great follow up to this one is Puddle of Mudd's "She Fucking Hates Me." Perfect for weddings. 😁

    The guitar effect is a called tremolo and it’s done using a pedal

    Give Three Days Grace, "I am Machine" a try. It has a fun surprise twist I think you'll like

    I'm pretty sure it's a vibrato effect! I use a vibrato pedal sometimes if we're doing covers.

    There’s lots of songs by 3 Days Grace. They are one of my favs. Please react to Pain, Time of Dying, Animal I have Become, Get Out Alive, and Chalk Outline. There’s so many more but these are all good songs. You say you love drums and I’ve seen you react to Godsmack’s Drum Battle but do some more Godsmack. I think you might like Voodoo, Sick of Life, Spiral, Serenity, and Bad Religion. Thank you for doing 3 Days Grace! Love your reaction!
