Has anyone bought this product recently? Did you have any positive or negative thoughts? If they was to be an similar design of these to be produced , What you would recommend to have better?
I bought a couple of pairs recently, v1 in red/black and v2 in carbon black. I don't think there's anything better on the market at present. They fit neatly, are well made and work perfectly. The only issue is that the magnetic mount means they can be knocked off accidentally, if they are pushed at a certain angle. The v2 model has a slightly different mount design, to try to reduce this possibility.
How much force does it take to activate? I see you slapping your hand against the button, but can I just click it with a finger, or does it need more force than that?
no its just a little click button, id say less than the force for your average lightswitch at home. But its rugged enough so you dont have to search for it in traffic and you can just slap it, which is especially handy when wearing gloves

Als ik het goed heb dan is deze verlichting in Nederland niet toegestaan. Heeft de politie je al op de lampjes aangesproken en hoe zit het met bekeuringen? Mij is nog niet duidelijk waarom de magnetische handiger zijn dan de vaste versie. Je zegt dat ze prima tegen een stootje kunnen en als je ze op een ander fiets wilt zetten dan heb je de houder van de oude fiets nodig.
Weet niet hoe het met de regelgeving in NL zit to be honest. Ik woon zelf in Duitsland :) De magnetische zijn wat mij betreft handiger, omdat er altijd wel een grapjas rondloopt die het humor vind om ze kapot te maken of er af te schroeven. Met de magnetische heb je in ieder geval de lampen zelf altijd bij je. Alhoewel je ze dan natuurlijk weer niet moet vergeten, hehe

En sinds 2010 is het toegestaan om naast de vaste niet knipperende voor en achterlichten, richtingaanwijzers op je fiets te hebben. The ends of my handle bar is where i clip my mirroirs ......would have to find a way to have both.........
