Notifier N16x Fire Alarm Test w/ Voice Evac

- Testing of new fire alarm system mostly installed but not finished. This is a retrofit install combining two seperate panels into one big system. This is a Notifier Inspire N16x with a DVC replacing an Edwards and older Notifier systems.
I gotta say: Not bad Notifier! Definitely nice to have a better idea what they look like and how the new DVC system sounds. Also, I think so far the n16 series seem great in terms of functionality and practicality.
Interestingly enough the DVC is 100% configurable and you have to put in the tones and voice messages yourself - it comes with nothing. Notifier has a large pack of voice and tone files so usually that's what people use. I have made them to use silent knight and EST messages and tones before at the request of building owners because they had multiple buildings and wanted them to sound the same.

Fast response and amplifier warm up impressive. Wish they would have put blanks in that dress panel though.
Blanks got put in after, we had to rush to do this project so stuff came in and we went back out to install it.

These panels are really good and hopefully they'll have an ability to run addressable NACs and Conventional NACs for the addressable versions of the LED L-series or with conventional capability to change the strobe Candela from the panel just like the Simplex 4100ES IDNAC panels but different
Where did you hear about addersable led l-series?
@@captainchris2016 I didn't hear about them but I know about on the manual of the LED L-series for the strobe candela level there's an option past 185 candela that isn't selectable yet called "FCP" and what this means is it allows you to change the candela of the LED L-series from the panel like it could be on the Fire-Lite ES series or the Notifier Inspire series panel and with the same thing for the tone setting that runs an addressable NAC circuit which will happen in the future as they'll make addressable LED L-series devices and it's like the same thing with changing the strobe candela and volume level on a Simplex Truealert ES horn strobe on a Simplex 4100ES IDNAC panel
@joeycaridi3030 the FCP setting has absolutely nothing to do with addressabilty, which is evident by the fact my P2RLED works exactly the same on 24VDC on the FCP setting as on any other candela setting. And you literally did not cite any sources in any way when you mentioned addersable LED L series and you have done stuff like this before and if system sensor was gonna make addersable led l series it would have been mentioned in the leaked images most likey. You obviously pulled this information out your head.
I am IN LOVE with the Inspire series. I find it weird that Notifier doesn't automatically have the DVC set. I mean I guess it makes sense. Does anyone know where one could find their directory (sound files)?
Sadly it’s still quite behind it’s time compared to that of the notifier systems the UK gets.
But then again I suppose the Uk systems are what make notifier it’s money and we get the scraps which get put together to make our systems in the US/Canada 😪
But even this is a step in the right direction at least.
Yeah seeing these panels means that Notifier and the rest of the Honeywell group is getting better without any quality control issues and hopefully they'll make a BG-14 series pull station!
Oh really? What makes you say that? If anything I'd say North American fire alarm systems are just as up-to-date as European ones if not more.
