  • Milt’s Mile is a “7 difficulty” rated trail. It is located near the fenceline trail that parallels SR-7. It starts about 1 minute from the “tunnel” that comes from the staging area inside the state park.
    There is a Milt’s Mile Lite, which is a 4 difficulty and follows the same general trail, avoiding all major obstacles. The trail is about 1.6 miles long, not 1 mile like you would assume.
    A good UHMW skid plate is a great thing to have for this trail, to protect your machine from damage, and also help you glide over the rocks easier. You can do the trail with stock size tires, but the bigger, the better.
    The main notable obstacles on this trail are:
    “The Monkeys”
    “Hard Right Turn”
    “Hard Left Turn”

    I'm enjoying your videos, as a new comer to rock crawling in Sand Hollow the time you take to show different lines is very helpful. Thanksgiving weekend we did Double sammy and milts mile. was a lot of fun looking forward to going there again between Christmas and New years.

    Great vid. I like the calm way y'all do your vids. I prefer yours to the other few channels out there. Do you remember how long it takes to do Milt's Mile? A website says it takes 5 hours, but my guess is around 1.5hrs from this and other vids.

    • @OffCamberInd
      @OffCamberInd  Před 6 měsíci

      Thanks Austin, appreciate the support.
      If we didn’t stop at all to spot or video or BS… I assume we could do it in under 30 min at our normal pace. If it’s your first time, an hour to hour and a half is probably realistic
      Most websites are basing trails on Jeep pace

    Just got back from a great weekend in Sand Hollow and wanted to thank you guys for making it so fun for me and my family. I’ve watched all your videos and loved knowing all about the trails. Milt’s mile was my wife’s favorite, and we did it with a stock RZR Pro XP, and slightly modified Can Am X3 Max. Avoided the big obstacles. I wore my Off Camber shirts all weekend hoping I’d run into you guys but maybe next time. Thanks for all the great videos!

      Best we’ve tried for Sand Hollow are the Maxxis Roxxzilla. System 3 XCR350 are also a good option. We’ve like the Sedona trail saw, but would prefer the Maxxis Roxxzilla for more hardcore trails

    Can you drive the sxs's from the near by neighborhoods to the state park to ride or do you have to trailer? We are street legal in Utah. Also is there anywhere that has a trail map of Sand hollow?

    • @marvinevans8789
      @marvinevans8789 Před 3 lety +1

      Milo that’s yes and yes. I ride my RZR to Sand Hollow from clear on the northwest side of St George. In 14000 miles of riding with probably 20% on street I have never had anything more than a smile and a wave with police. It’s awesome! Maps of Sand Hollow are available at the UTV dealers and a really cool app from Avenza Maps. 👍👍😎

      I’m testing them out for a little bit for a friend, waiting to get my hands on some 35” Roxxzillas when they’re available. These are Braven Berserker 35”. They are actually pretty good, just a harder compound than I want to run on the rocks.
