    I like the recap. It's cool you accidentally learned something about shrimp in FL. If you get your fish room, I think it would be cool to document your planning and setup of it. Good luck going forward!

      CubbysAquatics yea once I get moved hopefully my life will get a little more settled and I can really start focusing on my content getting to the next level. Always appreciate the support brotha. So when, or if you ever move to Florida you got a friend 👍.

    Hey man you have lots of projects going on. Your fails are just experiences that will become successful by what you have learned. I'm looking forward to watching what the future holds for you.

      Joe Munoz thanks Joe I agree mistakes happen and we all learn from them. Thanks I am excited for the future. I get a little more comfortable making videos each time.

    Very cool...how cold are your winters for shrimp to survive?

    • @AquaApprentice
      @AquaApprentice  Před 6 lety

      Well it got down to about 28 a couple days but I would say mostly about 47 degrees at night. Lasted for maybe a month like that. Now we are back up to the 60s and 70s

    I really enjoyed this video. Glad to see that the majority of your projects have been successful. I can sympathize with your problems of shooting videos in the garage. My home office / fish room / spectacular Aquatasy Studios was formerly our garage. I have the opposite issue from you though. It gets to hot for you in the garage in Florida, but I'm freezing this time of year in my garage...er, um...studios here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I gotta run a portable heater and then shut it off just before I roll camera. It's all good though.
    Keep crushing it, my friend. You're going to be at 1,000 subs in no time!

      Thank you for the kind words. Think the cold is better than the heat in my opinion because it’s hard to tell your cold and in the heat my sweat is a dead giveaway 😂. For my videos I think that I am learning little by little and am slowly improving myself as well as equipment, so like you said hopefully 1K is around the corner.

    Cool update about your project. Maybe I'll comment about your crypt tank. They're low tech plants, so it's very easy to keep. Yeah maybe you burry it too deep. Then while do water change, cover your inlet hose with a net. So baby shrimp didn't sucked off. And just do 20-30% weekly water change don't drain out the tank ...
    That's my opinion, I think ...

    • @AquaApprentice
      @AquaApprentice  Před 6 lety

      Indra Jaya thanks for the tip, can you gravel vac with the net on there?

    • @IndraJayaGroup
      @IndraJayaGroup Před 6 lety

      +Aqua Apprentice if it's dirted tank, no need to siphon the gravel. Just need common water change. But in my graveled tank, while do water change i always siphon the gravel with a hose. it didn't 100% clean but i think it will help remove undecompose debris, because all my graveled tank are using under gravel filter. But if you don't like your gravel get sucked, maybe you should try siphon that sold in pet shop. It's designed to clean sand & gravel.

    Looking good bro!!! I can't wait to see your fish room build. I would like to see some cool wild caught fish from Florida if you do stuff like that. Last time I was in the Tampa area I caught some mosquito fish.

      Yea I am really enjoying the tank even though it is kind of a mess at the moment. People don't mind your notification because you bring a lot more personality to your videos, I am still a little uncomfortable talking to myself. Thanks for the kind words and bless you and your family.
