Learn how to take the factory radio out of this 2004 lexus ls 430 same will go for 2003 and 2005 I believe. In order to install our new car audio pioneer radio we have to uninstall the factory car stereo in this lexus. This tutorial shows you step by step on how to remove the factory radio and what the final install should look like using our metra dash kits.

For anyone wanting to know how the TYTO-01 wiring works in this car or your audio is not working in your LS430, you wire it up exactly how it tells you in the instructions but once you finish the crimping or soldering you have to connect two of the TYTO wires to the connecter that is not being used that is next to the one you plug the harness into. TYTO-01 blue/pink wire to the black/gray (gray could also be silver) and the solid TYTO-01 pink wire to the yellow/gray. After that your head unit/audio should work, I just popped the two pins out of the harness with a paper clip and covered them in heat shrink and plugged them into the non used connector.

@@Joeymcbobbersen do you take off the new blue/pink and pink off of the new Tyto Harness? And add it to the small old non used harness to the gray and yellow? Thatâs what Iâm understanding?
@@CarlosDiaz-uw1jj yeah, youâll have to use a paper clip or something small to pop those two pins out cause they arenât apart of the main harness and individually plug them in, I put heat shrink around them cause they are exposed.

@@_xcursion_5392 yup the factory amp wonât power on and the only harness specifically for this vehicle has been discontinued. So unless someone finds a solution the only way is to bypass the amp
@@thatgmguy6055 if I knew what wire was for the amp, I would just splice that wire into the red acc wire on the rp4.2 harness.

yes if you get the right harness to integrate the premium sound system everything still works

Hey man, I used a TY-01 to connect my aftermarket radio but I donât hear any sound. Do you know what I may need to do?
man i hate the axxess tyto harness i have so many problems coming from it. but try and unplug it and plug it back up sometimes that works. also try to test the speakers from the factory harness if you get a tone from the factory harness then youmay not the tyto because its for amplified systems. or use the pac harness i always have good luck with those
