I think we fans sometimes overlook the extraordinary concentration of world class talent it takes to put on a show like this. In a very real sense the actors are like charismatic footballers who get to finish off a beautifully constructed attack movement. No wonder the credits run for so long these days.
It just amazes me how much goes into 1 scene. The battle shots just blew my mind! No wonder it takes you guys a year or more to film a season.

By far my favorite show on Netflix at this point. I've practically binge-watched all seasons in like 3 days. Can't wait for Season 5 and it will be interesting to see more of Æthelstan now that Uhtred is taking him under his wing.

@@vec1954 Toch wel jammer dat ze Edward een 'dom jongentje' hebben gemaakt terwijl hij vorig seizoen nou juist als het tegenovergestelde bekend stond. Hopelijk veranderd dat volgend seizoen en is het enkel buildup.
Ik geef je wel gelijk want het is inderdaad allemaal losjes gebaseerd, maar toch zou het leuk zijn als ze karakters aan blijven houden.

I am a person who doesn’t watch tv series . However when I saw this for the first time I watched every episode cause I couldn’t stop watching !!! This is a great great series and I’ve found the actors are all truly great ! Perfect in their roles . It also taught me some things about history I didn’t know as this series pushed me to study up on English and Germanic history !!

I have read a lot of England's history and also how viking culture tied into it. I have not read much about Uhtred or than he was lord in Northumbrian territory. I am curious to find out more thanks to this series.
