Leopard was completely stressed out, he was trying to find his way out, unfortunately, he strayed too off within the urban area, what it was doing is normal reaction or fright and flight combination, it was in no mood to fight, he just wanted to run and hide, anyone who was in his line of sight and close by he just attacked to defend to make his way clear... Unfortunately this is the reality of developing countries where forests and green covers are being wiped off and these animals have no choice but to have clash with human settlements..
