I only just started diamond painting a few weeks back, found your channel when looking something up and have really appreciated your content! My favorite childhood show was probably either Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood or Reading Rainbow. Good luck finding a notebook - I’m also a dot grid type person!📘
I'm doing the Dakotathon event this year for the first time. It started today! As far as shows go - I'm an 80s kid and my favs were "Who's the Boss" and "Three's Company".

Heia 🤗 When I grew up we only had 1 channel and the kids show was between 6-7 pm and everything was in Norwegian... But we used to rent vhs in the weekend, and my choice was always He-man and Transformers! And terrible dubbing 😅😅😅 We used to go from house to house to watch what everyone had rented. The parents had a schedule and everything! 🌀I started Diamond painting last August. I think it was my sons first day of school or close to that so I’m only 8 months into this. I WIPed along with you on my humorous custom piece. I don’t know if it was my first childhood show but I loved Saved by the Bell and Doogie Houser. You and Adam had me chuckling about channels. No had a twist knob tv in my room growing up but know I was SO lucky just to have a tv (I think I just got a hand me down).
💙🩵When you do find your perfect notebook, I suggest buying 2 or a few, if possible. This way you have backup(s), that you like, whenever the first one fills up.
I’m assuming what Adam as talking about was when there used to be a channel dedicated to just scrolling of what’s on each channel and what coming up, for those channels, for maybe the next hour or two (I can’t remember how far in advance, it showed upcoming programs or shows or movies). Also if you missed your favorite channels, you have to wait for them to be scrolled back to them, which could take a while, depending on how many channels that are on the system.
But here’s an even wilder thing, seeing that information in a newspaper or printed TV guide booklet (I think it showed the information for each channel for that week and yes, I’ve seen it at my grandmother’s house before).

I was working on diamond painting and a cross stitching. I sometimes do both in a day. My favorite shows were in the 80s and it was Flintstones, Jetsons, Tom and Jerry as a child but as I got older it was Facts of Life, Different Strokes, Good Times , Whats Happening etc. It was more Im sure! This was before the age of 13 tho. Also, I sent you an email with a link for a diamond painting log book but it was before I watched the video. I had only read the title. Happy diamond painting anniversary. I am glad you were able to go to Easter service at your church. I think I started diamond painting in 2021. I have only done about 13 kits because I am a slow diamond painter. I don't think I had a favorite tv show when I was a kid.
I started diamond painting in June 2020. It was an Amazon canvas, and never looked back. It took me awhile to go from the low end canvases to the quality of DAC, but I finally saw the light!
It’s not hard in the planner world lol so many good notebook companies!
💙 I know my DP anniversary! Jan 2, 2023, and it kind of works out that it's at the very beginning of the year, so when I sum up my annual progress it feels very "tidy. I would love to recommend the author Karen Chance's books, start with the Cassandra Palmer series and move into the sister series when they pop up in chronology :) You named a lot of my fave childhood shows, as a Canadian, Sharon, Lois and Bram was definitely my favourite!
My favorite show was Reading Rainbow. They would show it every week in school. 💙🩵

I started diamond painting February 12,2023. Since then I just can’t stop. Just watching your videos and some others, I have found so many wonderful people and companies that I just wouldn’t have found by myself. I love the different pens, putties, cover minders, wax, and seeing what everyone loves working on. I’m so glad you were able to attend Easter service and were able to feel relaxed that your son was in a good place. As a mom with a child with some special issues, a safe place was that was good for everyone was so refreshing. Right now I’m working on Rainy Dreams by Bella Art but I have my DAC lined up next. However, after listening to several WIP & Chat about books, I went his weekend and got 2 so I can expand my mind. Childhood memories would be Daffy,Bugs, Foghorn Leghorn, Sesame Street and The Little Rascals. 💙🦋💙

I was working on You Are My Sunshine from DAC........Tiny Toon Adventures, Rugrats , Little Bear,. Blue's Clues, Franklin, The Powerpuff Girls, and sailor moon were some of my fav's as a kid.💙
🐳🦕 growing up we did not have cable so we just got the local channels. So we watched a lot of PBS. So when I was very little I really enjoyed Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers.
Loved listening. I wouldn’t let my kids watch power rangers or power puff girls either. I feel silly now. lol. Thank you for your channel. 😇🐬

I started Diamond Painting on Feb 20 ( the day after my birthday). I bought a $9.99 Diamond Dotz kit from my local Walmart with some birthday money and haven't quit since. I love listening/watching your videos while working on my wips. I use Diamond Painting to meditate and decompress as I suffer from anxiety and depression and your voice is very calming and enjoyable to listen to.
My very earliest memory of watching tv was waking up early on Saturday mornings to watch The Smurfs, of course! 😂
For my daughter, it was Barney. And I whole heartedly supported it! 💞💎

Ooh, my favorite cartoons were Jem and the Holograms and Thundercats! I also liked Care Bears and Rainbow Brite. Reading Rainbow! Captain Planet, Transformers, X-men, Spiderman. Anybody remember Kids Inc.? It was like Mickey Mouse Club but I loved it!

Barney when I was a toddler, but as soon as I was 5 and discovered Cartoon network at 4pm Eastern I found out Toonami was a thing. Then my favorites were Sailor Moon , Dragon Ball Z ( rest in peace Toriyama-sama) , and Gundam Wing. Yup I went 0 to infinity and beyond when it came to TV 🤣🤣🤣

I started diamond painting August 9th 2023... I saw the Wolf Dreamcatcher in Hobby Lobby. I can't explain why I was drawn to it but I purchased it took it home and went on CZcams for direction. And you Katie was one of the videos I watched. Because you recommended the log book I started one. Doing that picture I was hooked so now I have several pictures waiting for me to work on.

I am 44 and a little older than you, but when i was a little kid, I remember watching Bozo the clown, The Flintstones, Jetsons, then we had shows like Small Wonder, Alf (I believe you mentioned), Different Strokes... but I could go on and on. When my kids were little, I felt like there weren't enough kids shows so I ended up buying the series of Alf, Flintstones, Jetsons and Punky Brewster (probably more your age group, this was one of my sisters favorites when she was little).
I am currently working on Puppies and Butterflies from Captured by Radiance and will be starting a Dakota Daetwiler painting soon for Dakotathon. Hope you have a great week! ❤

Happy 💎🖌️anniversary! I do remember my first day of diamond painting. It was Black Friday 2020. I ordered a mandala 4 pack Off Amazon and was hooked! Then I decided to splurge and order my first dac. Chuck Pinson’s vibrant Italy was my first square. Talk about diving in head first. No regrets. It took about a month. 3 plus years later I’ve completed 374 projects.-151 large paintings, 79 small paintings 30x40 or smaller, and 1434special drill paintings. I am going to be traveling 3 weeks this month and it’s the first big break I take from diamond painting. I think I’m ready.
I'm in my early 50s. Shows I remember are Looney Tunes, Polka Dot Door (might be a Canadian thing) and Sesame Street. Later was The Love Boat and Fantasy Island on Friday nights. Trippy show of the generation was 'Once Upon A Time' - a Euroversion Cinderella-ish cartoon, so trippy!! I found it many years ago on Amazon, and my cousins have borrowed it from me because they remember watching it as kids. It was unforgettable!! 📀 to the rescue!

Yes I’m working on a anniversary temperature blanket for my big brother for the year he got married but I’m knitting it and using a website for older years and so far it’s mostly bright pink and reds I used mostly and btw you are one of my favorite CZcamsrs 😊

My favorite show from my childhood was Lost in Space. Once I was 12 I could watch Star Trek. Another shows were Mission Impossible. There were others but I am unable to remember their names.

A good place to consider this summer is the Sawdust festival in Laguna. I have been many time. Including going to the Pagnent of the Masters once.
Just something I remember from my childhood.

For April fools in school one year, someone destroyed the bathroom, left pizzas in every soap dispenser, clogged toilets with toilet papers, let it overflow, threw wet pptowel chunks up on the ceiling, and took out some bathroom stall doors and left them dipped in someone's number 2.... idk who it was, but our principal was furious, sure enough the principal made a zero tolerance for April fools pranks next year... it was a disaster
This comment is totally going to age and place me but the first tv show I remember liking as a kid was called Storylords, which was a PBS series on reading strategies and problem solving about a kid named Norbert who put on gold sparkly gloves and hopped on an exercise bike in his garage to jump him into the place where he could defeat the evil storylord Thorzuul from harming regular citizens. Also, I’m so old that we didn’t have a channel on our TV that scrolled through the upcoming shows on each channel. I relied on TV Guide and trying to just catch things at the right time. 😂 Great WIPnChat this week, Katie. Your husband commenting in the background made me laugh. ❤💙🦋

📘💙 Check out Erin Condren journals, there are stores in Irving but I just ordered online -- customizable down to the paper type (lines, grid, dots). They're a little expensive but for something I'm using for years, I appreciate their heavy duty make. My fave shows growing up were Pokemon (indigo), Rugrats & Hey Arnold! (I remember Barney from when I was VERY young though.)

I would love to do that temperature diamond art but I live in Ohio and there's never a year that's the same. Our weather here is so different that I feel it would be a waste of money to buy drills now to prep for next year because who knows how the weathers gonna be. This week we were in the high 60s at the beginning of the week and now we're in a freeze advisory.
I'm still slowly trying to get through Christmas Eve at the Workshop by Dakota Daetwiler, but I haven't diamond painted much in the last couple of days due to being sick. 🦋💙

Me zoned out so hard on looking at bujos on Notebook Therapy to see if I could find a B5 dragon for you I had to listen to the end for the emoji like 10 times. 🦋 No dragons, sadly, and they sold out of the cute fox bujo.
Fraggle Rock was my first favorite! I really loved Mr Roger's and Care Bears, too, but they were more "I guess I'll watch this since Fraggle Rock isn't on."

DAC used to put the date that the drills were packaged on the bag of drills. It isn't the release date...more of a "born on" date.
