Shabbychic Creations Part 2: Dressing Table & Accessories.

Hi, thanks for watching my video.
I tried to create a shabbychic dressing table area on a tight budget.
The dressing table was ready for scrap, so decided to salvage it. I tried to chip at some of the thick stains on it and I gave it a good clean.
I painted it with chalk paint, decoupaged in napkins, distressed the wood with a knife for a shabbychic look and then varnished.
The temu finds looked really bright white & plastic looking, so just gave a little brush of the chalk paint to soften the look. I did that with my white jug and bowl set* which I purchased from a charity shop * that had been broken & had been glued back together.
I found some trinkets from the charity shop too and painted them with chalk paint and varnish. The flowers didn't go with my colour scheme so took them off and I tried * my first attempt* to make some roses out of modelling clay & stuck on with some cheap glue then painted & varnished.
