Great recipe! For me, I'd add chopped garlic, grated carrot and crisped bacon.

I have made these dishes before and I’ve added nutmeg to one and then I made some without it and you can’t tell any difference I don’t know why they call for it, even in lasagna they call for nutmeg you can’t tell any difference it’s a waste of your good nutmeg
