      Thanks for this vid! Very informative.. ibe question po, okay dinpo ba yung VOO na stocks?

    • @PinayUSRN
      @PinayUSRN  Před 4 měsíci

      @@ndnkrstn ang VOO kasi sir focused siya sa s&p 500 which is less riskier dahil well establised na yung mga company like apple, google etc. On the other hand, sa VTI (3,800 stocks) includes small and mid capped companies which is riskier compare sa VOO dahil andyan yung mga startups. So it really depends on you sir, the more you are close to retirement, its a must na mag invest sa less risk na investment, like bonds etc.

      @@PinayUSRNooh i see. Ano po difference ng mutual funds and index funds? And which is better po ba? Sorry daming tanong. Super clueless.

    • @PinayUSRN
      @PinayUSRN  Před 4 měsíci

      @@ndnkrstn sir, index is more predictable, like VOO naka invest ka sa top 500, VTI sa 3800 naman, meaning naka invest ka sa economy ng US as a whole. Pag nag crash ang market ng US , crash din ang investment mo, pag up ang economy like nowadays, up din ang investment mo. Sa mutual fund naman, meron yang active managers na ang goal nila siyempre is kumita yung investment dahil may percentage sila dun sa growth plus fees. Sa index very low ang fees, like sa VOO 0.03% lang kasi wala naman nagmamanage e sinasabayan lng nya yung growth ng s&p 500

    Sir do you consider investing to tangible and non tangible gold? I am wondering where does this money goes and where does the rewards for this retirement from. I am concern about printing of money as a federal reserve notes is not backed by tangible assets but with credit of US government. Thanks sir. More power to your channel.

    • @PinayUSRN
      @PinayUSRN  Před 5 měsíci

      Hello sir.
      Eto po sagot ko sa question 1: Meron din po kaming investment sa physical gold, at yan nga po lagi kong sinasabi kay misis na when everything goes wrong, physical gold will prevail, magcollapse man ang lahat ng financial institution here in the US, but gold will still remains as gold with appreciating value. I don’t recommend non tangible gold as I do not have any experience to it, better physical gold if di naman ganun karami.
      Q2: the profit that the retirement fund comes from index fund, which means you literally investing it to the economy of US, like the S$P 500, you are investing it in top 500 companies. Lets say they performed well like last 2023 with growth of 20%, the money you invested grows as well, so thats where the rewards comes from, vice versa, if they are down you’re down too.
      Q3: about the printing, I’ve watched a lot of video with regards to that matter, but again not all the information available to us in the internet are true. we need to treat it always with a doubt. We really dont know what is happening behind Fed’s doors and we dont know how much gold they have, to backed their notes. maybe they do really have it, thats why they are printing, again, no one really knows. They also said that bitcoin might replace dollars, again, no one really knows what will happen in the future, so we focus on what we can control today. like what I have said in the video, dont put all your eggs in one basket, you need to diversify, good thing with us we also have philippines as an option to invest into.
      Sorry for the long answer 😅 tried my best to explain it hopefully it helps 🙏🏻

      @@PinayUSRN yes sir tama better bullion gold and you can also buy it sir using bitcoin like credit suisse gold bars. Ive been watching and reading Ray Dalios studies and theories. Kaya i just want to know your opinion with the printing matter. I hope we can invest better in Philippines if in the future retiring anywhere in the world. You can try commodities like non tangible gold sir if you dont fancy bitcoin with unique block chain. Happy investing sir! More power. Sana madiscuss nyo rin about cash as king and emergency fund.

      @@ndnkrstn Here is my suggestion…

    • @PinayUSRN
      @PinayUSRN  Před dnem

      @@ndnkrstn this is what I think optimal order of investment. 401k matching (match your employer’s) - then open a high yield savings account for your emergency fund - roth IRA max contributions of 7k for this year - then if you still have left over money for investment, max your 401k to reduce your taxable income or open a health savings account. If still you have more money left to invest, thats the time you invest in stocks, real estate, or pay off your debt 😁
