The last ABC IndyCar telecast to feature the iconic broadcast team of Paul Page, Sam Posey, & Bobby Unser. And to think, it almost ended the way it began at Nazareth in 1987; with Mikey in Victory Lane.
I was always an Al Jr. fan since he and his family are from my hometown, but I felt bad for Michael. I know he was hard on his equipment, but he did deserve that win...in the same fashion Al deserved the 1996 Road America race, and Michael ended up capitalizing on.
Bobby Unser was useless! Awful commentator. Couldn't pronounce words, always says the wrong thing with car failures and passing, penalties, etc. His opinion was wrong about 95% of the time. Plus he always interrupts others when speaking. Biggest mistake to put him in there and especially for so long.
I can not believe these cars are from 26 YEARS ago.

I remember my Dad yelling at the TV a lot when I watched these with him as a kid, haha. Watching these seasons through as an adult, I now know why.
