Really helpful and was able to get my company logo on the doors, DOT and VIN on the sleeper and company logo on the mud flaps. Did the glider as well but doesn’t have the option for the mud flaps.
I've always wanted to do this but I didn't know how to, but now I have my logo on my truck and it looks so freaking awesome!!!!!!

Trying to do this on the Classic XL I bought but it doesn't work. It shows the dds file I edited per your directions but in game it still shows the old one. In the classic xl its under vehicle upgrade paintjobs there is no company logo folder...any ideas?
I can do the truck skins mudflaps and logos. anyway i can get help doing the plate? not really sure why i cant get these to change

I did it with my Jon Ruda 389 but my door logo's are uneven, the one on the right door in smaller and more squished than the one on the right

I was finally able to add a logo still need some work lining it up how do you add your letters without the background.
I tried it with Ruda other trucks don't work
Thank you. You eliminate the back ground by ADDING a layer on paint.net then put whatever words you want and delete the first layer or "background " layer. You should probably watch my other video about skinning ATS trucks, it goes more indepth with paint.net.

Yeah, idk what I’m doing wrong or just not doing…
But when I open my “rar” file (and maybe it’s because I’m using something other then winrar) but the open definition file I need keeps coming up as a PDF… not helpful lol

for some reason mine its not working I replace all logos with my own and nothing changed...

I did it just like the video said and look thru the comments and see that I’m not the only one having the issue of it not showing up in the game and I see no reply’s from the guy 🥴
You also see all the comments of people that did get it work 😝 it’s been 2-3 years since I’ve done this, I can’t guarantee it still works this way. But assuming it does I would say you didn’t save it as a .dds file or missed one small step. One thing to check is to make sure once you click file save, they TWO MORE screens pop up asking if your sure you want to overwrite the file. Those pop ups can get stuck behind other screens, watch that part of the video closely.
Great video. I did this with Jon’s 362 and it did not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Update: I did not have the OPEN DEFINITION active and loaded in the Mod Manager. Once I did that, it worked. The steps in his video are 100% accurate.

So mine when i double click black or white logo opens a screen with a bunch of squiggles and won’t open with paint.net
rewatch the video , you are either in the wrong file or the file is not still zipped. the file must he zipped when you open it, meaning still in 7Zip or WINRAR
Also you must RIGHT CLICK on the image you want to work with
@@angryjgaming I have done all that and and watched this video a couple of times even pausing it, and it is still doing the same problems as Sledneck Steens has mentioned.
So I follow all the steps but the logos still pop up with “your logo” I put the open def in my mods any ideas

yes they are fine. just about anything you try to download for ATS will be flagged by your security.
So I decided to change the logo with something different and now I get a pink square where the logo should be. Any ideas what file needs to be removed to fix this? I sent a text to Jon Ruda about this as well.

when i press your logo it only shows codes no paint.net and i ahve paint.net isntalled
Same for me. When I try to open the logos I only get the codes. I right clicked on it and open is not an available option. Nor open with paint.net. I’m using winrar and paint.net. I also haven’t unzipped the file. Just downloaded it from my email.
Try this. grab the "your logo" image and drag it to thr desktop. then open it paint.net. Once your done editing it, you can simply drag it back into the file and click yes to override.

I made my logo for the 389, but when I select it in game it's just a large black square. What am I doing wrong?
when you created the logo, did it have the "checkard board" white and grey background like mine or was it all white (or any color)?
@@angryjgaming I believe it was the checkerboard pattern like yours was. I called myself following your exact steps but I guess I messed up somewhere.

Working on that RIGHT NOW for the stock scs trucks, i can skin modded trucks as well but thought i would start with scs first.
