Airtime SPORTS!
Yea
He should have used the Los Angeles area coster comparison of colossus to twisted colossus rather than that stupid twisted cyclone comparison. Know the region buddy!!!
SLASHISMYHOMMIE 818 no
Yo CZsWorld one of the best horror content creators around
Hearing airtime thrills makes this like some weird alternate reality video
*rick and morty theme intensifies*
Haha ik
it’s REALLLY weird hearing chris talk baseball. especially when he says diamondback
Exactly
Infinity war is the best crossover
SRS: Hold my beer
As a rollercoaster and baseball nerd this makes me screech in happiness
I know right. I literally had to pinch myself to make sure this was real
Same I was so confused when I heard his voice
As a Canadian, gotta watch this. While I eat a late “breakfast”. And I love how you said the city and provinces correctly. Bless.
Qwabek
He also did a pretty good job at pronouncing Gagné’s name
🇨🇦
Votto the best Canadian?
Gretsky my opinion I think he is, hands down. On the mound nowadays I love the Calgary boy Soroka
Eric Gange was great at having a good breakfast.
Foolish baseball fan. I am too.
Seems to help batters more than pitchers.
@@vinnythewebsurfer Probably because way more batters were taking them compared to pitchers.
Other than Gagne and Clemens, I can't think of any standout pitcher users
Batters? Pssht...how much time do you have
Dylan Saluck I think you mean Jon bois fan
I love airtime thrills and i love stark raving sports! Best collab ever
Gagne is still one of my favorite players to this day i was lucky enough to meet him at his book signing years ago hes such an awesome dude
Yup, definetly showing my dad this video
Grew up a padres fan and saw this guy a lot, he was great for a while, in SD had Hoffman and we all went crazy for hell's bells, great times
They both had the 2 best change ups. Hoffman had the palmball and Gagne had the split change.
@@marcusnunes7256 Yeah, Hoff was the man, his fastball/change combo had the perfect gap in speed and his longevity was great
Gagne was great for a bit like the video said
Marlins fan here....your welcome
Dodgers fan, but have so much respect for Hoffman. Second only to Rivera as a closer during that era.
@@ktbeatty yeah for sure, obviously riviera was on a much more successful team, but regardless his cutter was nasty
I miss those days of tony gywnn and hoffman, had so much fun as a kid going to those games, got autographed balls from both of them and ken caminiti, remember that dude? He was roided to the gills lol
SO. MUCH. DODGERS. CONTENT. 🥵🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
On the real though, i’ve never seen a more dominant pitcher in my life. I missed the prime years of Pedro and Randy, but that stretch Gagne had was unbelievable... nobody could touch him (except Bonds)
Also one final comment. I owned that shirt too, Chris. It was freaking awesome hahaha
Thank god
When ur already subbed to both channels
Same lol. I’m from Boston too
Let’s go cards
AIRTIME THRILLS! I love both these channels. Great collab
Wow what A story, You should do one on Harvey s career after he makes this comeback in KC
For two years my father and I traveled around and went to different games and stadiums, eventually getting to around 38 stadiums (we caught a lot of teams at their last year at some historic older places), and then their first year at their current park. Going to Dodger Stadium and seeing the "Game Over" sign was as electric as I remember a park getting. Outside of seeing the last few games at Tiger Stadium in Detroit, seeing this goggled goofball was one of the best high points I can ever remember.
How many times have we seen these players have a year or a few years of greatness only to fall off the cliff. It should make fans appreciate how players like Trevor Hoffman and Mariano Rivera had such long careers.
Man, such great memories of my childhood going to Dodger games and waiting to hear Gagne walk out song.
Thank you for this video.
I loved Gagne when he was with the Dodgers. Back when he was trying to make the team as a starter, I always hoped they would make him a reliever. His main issue as a starter was that effectiveness would greatly diminish (moreso than normal) each time he would go through the lineup, especially his third time through a lineup. Nowadays that wouldn't be such a big deal since managers go to the bullpen earlier and earlier the past few seasons, but back then a starter was expected to eat up as many innings as possible. Once he only had to see batters once in a game he was absolutely lights out and it showed.
I’m probably in the 0.0001% of people on this planet subscribed to both SRS AND Airtime Thrills. What a time to be alive!!
Airtime Thrills along with Stark raving Sports, my two favorite CZcams channels I'm a coaster Enthusiast by the way
I know this video has been up for 2 years...but as a diehard baseball fan and a HUGE coaster enthusiast...this was like a time warp...awesome!
my favorite closer ever. Man was automatic for nearly three years
Never heard of Airtime Thrills until I saw this video. Now I'm a sub over there also, so great collab boys!
Never heard of SRS until I saw airtime thrills' community post about him being in this video
@@Stephenp503 that's awesome, its cool to see good content creators working together to spread their audience. I bindged some Airtime videos earlier after I discovered the channel. Never been "into" coasters, but it was really neat to learn some new stuff. Both channels are great imo
Love Gagne he’s my favorite player, but you have to mention his PED usage as part of his fall
Not sure I get the context of the comment. The video did cover his PED usage and his appearance in the Mitchell report.
I mean sure but he was definitely using them for recovery as many pro athletes secretly do
Man I actually remember this guy. My grandma was a Giants fan and we use to watch him with the Dodgers.
I love the comparison between the coaster and Gagne. Amazing video!
Gange is on Momentum all the time, and he is unrecognizable now. Lost a lot of his bulk he had while playing. And is a character man.
Gagne was a revelation in 2002. I remember him at St. Louis getting out of a bases loaded, no outs jam. And in Baltimore, he gave up a lead-off triple, and then got out of it by striking out a couple batters. Every time he came in, you expected at least two Ks. We went crazy for him. His curve was unfair, and his fastball almost untouchable. It was so much fun to watch him ... even if he was in the report.
It's so weird hearing Airtime Thrills talking about something other than roller coasters.
Ikr
Still have my Gagne bobble heads & game over shirt, been a life long Dodgers fan & the rep was we never stayed after the 7th because of traffic- this guy changed that culture
Bro how did I never catch this crossover I’m subscribed to both channels this was super cool- (aside from gambling and poker I’m a baseball and coaster dork)
Aaaayyyyyyee!!! Chris!!! 😃😃 This was hilarious lol ❤️🎢⚾️
My three favorite things in one video. Coasters, baseball, and a bit of hockey. O and ofc, Chris.
As a Giants fan, I will always believe Jason Schmidt was robbed of the Cy Young in 2003. I'll also always remember the feeling of defeat when seeing Gagne come into the game. He was truly amazing during that three year run.
As a Giants fan I've always had a strong hatred for the song Welcome to the Jungle. Didn't even know why until you mentioned it was Gagne's walk up song lmao.
Dude this is an insane collab wtf! I love airtime thrills channel and I love baseball. Win win
My 2004 Fantasy Bullpen:
Eric Gagne
Francisco Rodriguez
Brad Lidge
Keith Folke
Needless to say, I dominated the league. Thank you, Eric for helping me stomp on my opponents.
dude i remember fanning out in middle school... GAME OVER! Go dodgers
Two CZcamsrs I love collaborating? Awesome.
I remember being a little leaguer with goggles…he made it cool for us nerds that could pitch
Best closer of all time!
Mariano Rivera: am I a joke to you?
I know nothing about baseball and literally only came for Airtime thrills
You're not alone.
Yep
Same
This was the period I paid attention to baseball the most, and I'm from Los Angeles. Bring it on!
I was at the game in Ottawa when he came in. 5 perfect innings as a starter. We had one of the biggest crowds in over a decade for him alone.
This is weird hearing AirTime thrills for the intro. Ayyy
I knew I recognized that voice somewhere. Great vid!
I really like all of the guest host/speakers. Lots of unique voices and points of view.
Thanks for the video. He was great.
Favorite pitcher in mlb the show
Airtime Thrills!!! 🤘 😎 🤘
Game over GAGNE
My first favorite player growing up I was a huge basketball/Laker/Kobe fan but he made me a Dodger/baseball fan ps He did blow one game in 2003 the All Star Game (damn you Blalock)
This is a collision of two of my favorite CZcams channels what is happening??
Was not expecting Airtime Thrills. But I'm very here for it!
This Video is amazing!
My two favorite things mushed together in one video!😂
We need Chris to do more sports Videos!
god tier vid over one of my fav players. gj keeping the analogy going the whole time
My favorite baseball story page no cap
Wow, that's some real high level product placement synergy, Jack from 30 Rock would be proud. Is it a baseball video or a six flags commercial? The answer is yes!
I was legitimately just thinking about rewatching some Airtime Thrills videos lol
Best coaster to compare... Hypersonic SLC. Fast, Up, Down, Twiddle around for a couple seconds, end.
The wicket cyclone analogy made my year.
Me: this dude sounds familiar... *10 seconds later*... wait why is airtime thrills doing a sports video?
Lol
the pride of Seminole State!
Anyone else from LA and miss watching Dodgers games on KCAL Channel 9?
This video is mesmerizing.
As somebody who has multiple hobbies including video games, roller coasters, sports, and art, When I realized that this was airtime thrills I lost it
I remember me and my cousin took my little brother to a game. He was about 9. He’s gonna be 29 now. He wanted to see Gagne pitch. I don’t remember who we were playing but we decided to leave since we were winning. I remember telling my brother he’s not gonna pitch we were up so we decided to leave. As we were walking in the parking lot welcome to the jungle came on. I’ve felt bad ever since lol.
Great video. Airtime thrills was a fantastic host
Eric Gagne better be more than grateful for the World Series Ring he never deserved with the 2007 Boston Red Sox!
Chris has really been making great content lately, I hope his channel grows more with the quality of his videos improving.
The collaboration I never knew I needed
I remember this guy, seemed like he came and went just like that.
Baseball and roller coaster analogies wasn’t something I was prepared to hear today
Gagne is a glitch in Mvp 05.
You should do another video on Kenley Jansen. Starting out as a catcher, transitioning to the bullpen, becoming the Dodgers closer, dealing with some heart problems, losing the closer role, regaining the closer role, dealing with some heart problems again, blowing two save opportunities in the world series, struggled last year, and now off to a good start in 2020.
I love this channel
I remember those years I was in elementary at the time playing tee ball and I used to mimic Garry Sheffield’s batting stance 😂
He was a curse, in every all-star game, the national league had the lead and then in one fell swoop he $#!#;#;! Blew it for the NL.
the collaboration i didnt know i needed
10 sec into video: wow that sounds like airtime thrills’ voice. But it can’t be.
1 min into video: holy shit two of my obscure hobbies coming together
Nice narrating Chris!
When I heard Chris I froze I’m like no way that’s Chris them I’m like CHRISSSSSSSSSSSS
Never enjoyed a baseball video so much

You know why Eric Gagne 55 saves in 2003 but his team only won 85 games.
The Dodgers offense that season was so horrible but their pitching staff was so good that they entered the 9th inning a majority of the time leading like 2-1, 4-2, or 3-2.
They were possibly the worst 85 win team ever, but without Eric Gagne always locking down every save they would’ve been so much worse!
Lol he learned English by watching American sitcoms..
Shows Keenan and kel..
My brain: could you imagine him walking into the dugout with a thick ass accent “ I love orange soda!”
I love big wooden coasters.
This is how I became a Dodger fan at the start of 2003: because of stars like Éric Gagné. My god, it was fun to watch... even as an 11-to-12-year-old kid.
Gagne Lo Duca Beltre Green Lima miss those days
Subscribing only because of the baseball/coaster crossover
That rollar coast ( wicked cyclone ) that is shown in this video, is an awesome ride. Live about 20 min from six flags new england ( agawam massachusetts )
hate roller coasters. i love eric gagne. he was awesome as a kid growing up in LA
I was so young when this happened but I have faint memories of my dad taking me to the ball game and hearing welcome to the jungle
Awesome. Just the video I was looking for.
Coming soon to SRS: Coaster Studios and Legosi!
Lol
Well, see you guys. About to dive into a rabbit hole about roller coasters lmao
Trust me, roller coasters is a deep, deep rabbit hole
I love how here in Montreal us anglophones need to speak French fluently in order to even HAVE a job, yet somehow francos like Gagne can grow up in Montreal and somehow not speak a word of fucking English
This is a crossover i never expected, but a good one nevertheless. I only know him as the guy that hates skyrush
Skyrush is god
I totally forgot about him! He was SICK for a couple years!
Shove the roller coasters.
I passionately watch both of you guys. It’s a weird coincidence I see you collabing
I REMEMBER THE CYCLONE! From MA. Keep killing it with the content brother!
Every amusement park fan on the east coast knows where the real cyclone is located. Hint it isn’t at Six Flags New England
