Damn, Wolf this suks, and i hope y'all will be housed in new homes soon 👍
Rising, record levels of homelessness, is a key feature of FF, FG, Labour, and Greens policies since 2008, nothing of significance for housing will change with this Government, as they use homeownership constitutional laws to justify not delivering social housing.
Which is compounded by the mixed messages coming from SF, who have slid so far right they are calling for more Government bailouts, i meant tax payer funded monies in financial supports to help, keep Landlord's in the housing market to deliver affordable homes!

sorry to hear that wolfhound but all asylum seekers (90% of whom are rejected but seldom deported) have been promised their own home within 4 months of arrival so they'll have to be given a lot of the new builds. Around 10k have come in so far this year, never mind the Ukrainians. Also, all asylum seekers in direct provision over two years were given a blanket amnesty this year so they all need homes too. 30% of the people presenting as homeless every month are immigrants fresh off the plane too. It's regrettable the situation you are in but we have to cater to the needs of foreigners ahead of Irish people, which I know is a policy you agree with.

It is and it still is, but the government passed a motion that nobody's entitled to a house, straight after recognition of the homeless epidemic during Varadkars first stint as taoiseach, so it's who they deem necessary for the house, not the entitlement

@@irishwolfhound1448Did some of us knowingly elect politicians to prioritise the failing EU, dishonesty, money grabbing, war mongering and the UN with its anti Irish policy's. For no better reason than to bankrupt Ireland by lies and deception, helped by a controlled media and bought politicians, who will have us pay with money even if we have to borrow it and risk our lives fighting for American controlled NATO.
