Hi, Honfleur is pretty, and being so close to the centre is ideal. But I wouldn't base food shopping prices based on an area which is basically tourist souvenir shops, boutique shops etc right on the main drag of the town. It's good to support the tiny independent shops but for main shopping you are better going to the supermarket, which are often on the edge of the town. And eat where the locals eat!

Hi it is very pretty and thank you for the tips! Next time we will try the areas outside the main tourist locations hopefully that makes some different. Happy travels 😊

Hello, thank you for this interesting video. I live in France and it's a very beautiful country with a lot of positive things, but prices have risen enormously (even if it's the case pretty much everywhere). Another problem is that homeschooling has recently been virtually banned, while I think it's a great educational alternative.

Home schooling in your country of origin is bad enough but depriving your children of daily contact with classmates when they need to become fluent as quickly as possible is bordering on criminal!

As soon as the UK is back in the EU hundreds of thousands of Brits will be selling up and moving to France... it's nicer weather , it's cheaper and these a lot less crime.. it's close to home to visit and have family and friends drop by....see if I'm. not right!!.â€ïžđŸ‡ŹđŸ‡§đŸ‡šđŸ‡”

The views of all the different houses, colours and architecture is amazing...so much to take in.
Big Thank you for interesting video. ❀
It put's Britain to shame as our houses, old and new, are same old clone designs...nothing exciting or invigorating...just bland.
Even our Towns and cities have lost their core...too many empty, dirty and are crumbling away.
    No craftsmanship left.
Technology Cities are taking over which are cold, hard and bland.
I truly think Britain is finished.
France may be the better option to move to...stops the brain from dying of boredom and Artificial intelligence fakeness.

France is not expensive. You have just come out of a small shop in a town that’s basically Paris by the sea and are presumably comparing the prices to your local Tesco or Asda. Believe me you get a lot more for your money n France than England. Why do you think so many British people retire there. As tourists you are probably thinking that Spain is a cheap place to live because you’ve been in the supermarkets and bought diesel there. It’s not, it’s expensive. Wages are generally much lower than in the U.K., the tax free allowance before you pay income tax is a fraction of what you’re used to and the tax bands are closer together so a lot of people are in high tax brackets. All that results in far less disposable income than you’re used to. All prices in the EU have risen for you because of the effect that Brexit had in the pound but the population has not seen the out of control energy prices that Britain has experienced. If you want further proof look at house prices and annual road tax and you suddenly won’t be saying Britain is a cheaper place to live. It’s a shame that you didn’t try a restaurant or even an ice cream. A good meal would have been a lot cheaper than if you had ordered the same in Cornwall, possibly half the price and that’s before you’ve taken the cost of the wine into account. The ice creams will certainly be half the price of similar ones in southern England. Britain is a country where people live on credit. The average personal debt for an adult in the U.K., not including mortgage debt is about £30,000, a lot of it on credit cards, in the EU it’s a fraction of that. People there live within their means. While you’re at it you should have compared the cost of keeping a yacht in the marina in Honfleur compared to Brighton or Chichester directly across the Channel. It’s the same for tourist boat rides, you’d pay twice as much as at home. I’m sure the title of this video was little more than click bait but in your tour of the town and your comments about the cost of living have shown you to be foolish and ignorant of the facts. I suggest you go to Cornwall and Devon next, pay for a few campsites and car parks, eat a few ice creams and restaurant meals, look in the estate agent’s windows and ask about council tax rates. When you’ve done all that you might want to reset your brains. Thank you for the video of the beautiful buildings, I’ve never visited Honfleur but I will in the future. Shame you can’t recommend a restaurant.
