Hi @HK@CA, thank you for the helpful information. Have you heard of any successful or failed case of substituting a diploma cert with the graduation letter in their PR application? I am quite worried about this but I have to wait for 6 more months before the cert can be issued... thanks again!
There are a few CZcamsrs sharing that they were able to use graduation letter as supporting in their PR applications. But CFSO once suggested that applicant should wait for their diploma certificate. As you may know, different case officers may have different approaches when handling cases. It seems there is no certain answer for this question.

就你所說嘅護照問題，Guide 5067 嘅解說係 "If you have more than one passport, choose the one you’ll use to travel to Canada."
至於你提及嘅 sponsor 問題，我暫時見 IMM 5409 有出現相關字眼。但 IMM 5409 係有 common-law partner 先要填，好似同父母無咩關係。反而 IMM 5406 同 IMM 5669 就要填父母資料。

With reference to the work requirements stated by IRCC:
"To be eligible for this stream (Stream B), you must have worked in Canada for at least 12 months full-time, or an equal amount of part-time hours (at least 1,560 hours in total) in the 3 years before you apply."
Since it is an open work permit and the term that IRCC used is "worked in Canada", there should be no restriction on which part of Canada you are working.
There is one thing you need to pay attention if you are still living in Quebec at the time when you apply PR. You need to prove that you intend to live in a province or territory other than Quebec. You can refer to following link for further information.

If you and your family apply PR under HK Pathway, only the main applicant need to meet the CLB English requirement.
If your spouse choose to apply for citizenship in the future, "proof of language skills" is one of the requirements.
about the Eng test that PR requires, can i use the same result （IELT）i had when i applied the college in Canada
The requirement of English test result when you apply PR is different from the English test you took at the time when you applied for your college. In most of the cases, college will require applicant to provide English test result of IELTS Academic test. However, at the time when you apply PR, IRCC requires you to provide English test result that show you have a level 5 score in CLB. To achieve level 5 score in CLB, you need to take either IELTS General test or CELPIP General test. Since IRCC does not accept test result of IELTS Academic test, PR applicants under Stream A will need to take English test again before they apply for PR.

I have a Stream B OWP and will be going to Canada soon. For the HK police check, should I take it now (before I leave HK), or should I take it after I have 1 year work experience to apply for the PR? When is the best time to get the HK police check? Thanks.
If you already have a HK Pathway Open Work Permit, that means IRCC did not request for a police check during your OWP application. There is no need for you to do the police check unless IRCC asks you to do so after you submit your PR application.
You cannot apply for HK police check in advance because HK Police needs you to have a letter issued by IRCC (stating the need for a police check) as a supporting for your police check application.

Hello, thank you for the video! As I'm graduated from HKU (i.e. universities/institutions outside Canada), do I have to apply for 'WES' to prove the validity of my degree granted, and upload it for support of documents? Thank you!
It depends on which stream you are applying PR under HK Pathway. For Stream B, if applicant graduated from a post-secondary school outside Canada, he/she must get an educational credential assessment (ECA). For Stream A, if applicant graduated from diploma or degree course in Canada, there is no need to get ECA for previous degree granted in Hong Kong or outside Canada.
However, if applicant has a credential from a one-year graduate or post-graduate program in Canada, he/she may also need to include ECA report when submitting PR application. Since the instructions of IRCC are unclear under this situation, please seek professional advice from immigration consultant if necessary.

Hi. I am a stream B applicant, just want to know whether the dates being shown in my copy of my master's degree (17-Mar-2019) and the final transcripts (1-Nov-2018) are different would affect my application. Especially in my case that the date being shown on the final transcripts was not in the last 5 years when I submit my application (16-Mar-2024 or earlier).
Since your question is case specific, we recommend you to consult a licensed immigration consultant. We tried to search IRCC website for information, but we are unable to find any explanation from IRCC which matches your situation.

個人經驗分享，我哋上載嘅護照副本都係對唔到 travel history。IRCC case officer 無要求我哋要提交其他補充證明。
想問問我用PR PORTAL填IMM5669時係咪所有自己名, 父母名都要寫晒中文同英文? 另外section C education果part, "Type of certificate or diploma issued", "Field of study" for 中五中七應該填咩? 同埋name of institution 佢只可以入24個字母, 如果唔夠位入應該點做?
IMM 5669 入面只係喺填申請人資料時先有呢句 "Your full name written in your native language or script"。喺填申請人父母嘅資料時係無要求要填埋中文名。我當時用 pdf 版嘅 IMM 5669 時都只係填咗父母嘅英文名。
至於 Education 嗰部份，中五中七嘅 "Type of certificate or diploma issued" 同 "Field of study"，我係分別填咗 "N/A" 同 "Secondary School"。另外，如果 online form 都仲有出現唔夠位填嘅情況，就可以考慮用我喺片中所講嘅加紙方法。另外打一張 additional sheet，喺 "Additional Supporting Documents" 之下選擇 "Other" 類別去 upload。

我同你嘅理解係一樣，country of origin 係香港，過咗嚟之後 residence 就係加拿大。我當時最後一行係填由香港到加拿大讀書嘅資料 (因為之後無再出境)。如果之後返過香港，就應該再加多一行。
想問一下pr申請 可唔可以提早 建立account 例如話提早兩個月
PR Portal 係無限制申請人幾時去 "Create an account"。我拍片時 (3 個月前) 開咗個新申請 (無提交) 用嚟做測試，到依家都無被取消。

1) I am the main applicant for Stream A. Am I the only one need to fill 10 years history?
2) If my husband is currently in HK and will not come in this year, can he apply for PR too? Does he need to be in Canada while I apply?
3) If my daughter is only 18 years old and has been in Canada for the last 2 years. Does she need to do the criminal record check up in HK or just Canada?
4) Can I apply for criminal record check up in HK before I get my graduation certificate to shorten my application time?
Answers:
1) According to form IMM 5669, apart from the principal applicant, spouse, common-law partner or dependent child aged 18 years older of the principal applicant will need to complete the form that requires to provide personal history.

2) At the time when you submit your HK Pathway PR application after graduation, you are the only one who need to be in Canada. If you include your husband and dependent child in your PR application, they will be granted PR if your application is successful.
3) It is IRCC decision on who needs to do the police check (including HK and Canada). IRCC will inform you after you submitted your PR application.
4) HK Police Force will only accept the application of "Certificate of No Criminal Conviction" when you have the request letter issued by IRCC.

你好，我打算與老婆經stream A移民加拿大，請問IMM0008 form中dependant一欄，需唔需要填老婆？又需唔需要填父母資料？
經 HK Pathway 申請 PR 時填嘅 IMM 0008，表格嘅 Dependant(s) 部份係要填直屬嘅家庭成員。即配偶 / 伴侶、子女等。IRCC 用嘅字眼係 "You must include your spouse or common-law partner, if applicable, and all of your dependent children, and those of your spouse or common-law partner, who are not already permanent residents or citizens of Canada"。而父母資料係喺 IMM 5406 同 IMM 5669 先要填。

@@christsang5258 以 HK Pathway Stream A 方法申請 PR，如果係剛讀完 post-secondary diploma 或 degree 等課程，係唔洗提交以前海外學歷嘅學歷認證。但如果係讀一年制嘅 graduate 或 post-graduate program 就有機會要提交埋以前海外獲取嘅 diploma 或 degree 課程嘅學歷認證 (因 IRCC 沒有清楚說明 "for diplomas or degrees obtained abroad" 嘅要求係咪兩個 stream 都適用)。詳情可參考申請 PR 時嘅 Document Checklist (IMM 0134) 有關 "Proof of Education" 的那一段。
根據 IRCC Glossary，"Family members" 嘅定義係 "An applicant’s closest relatives, in the context of an application to IRCC. It is defined as a spouse or common-law partner, dependent children, and their dependent children."

我2020在港完成master degree，但我需唔需要在我開始讀master degree 時，要五年內完成之前的degree 課程？
行 HK Pathway Stream B 嘅朋友其實最緊要睇申請人喺申請 PR 嗰刻係咪曾經喺五年內有大專畢過業。如果喺香港完成 master degree，要做學歷認證去證明有關學歷係加拿大認可。
至於你提及五年內完成之前 degree 課程嘅情況，係只適用於以 "graduate or post-graduate diploma or certificate" 學歷申請 PR 嘅申請人。如果你用香港 master degree 學歷行 Stream B 申請 PR，就唔受限制。但如果你計劃行 Stream A，用 master degree 學歷去報讀加拿大 DLI 學校嘅一年制 post-grad cert 等課程，咁喺加拿大畢業後申請 PR 時就要符合埋呢個條件。
如計劃行 Stream B，以你情況為例，假設順利通過學歷認證，你最遲要喺 2025 年 (用你畢業日期計五年內) 遞交 PR 申請。咁即係你 2024 年開始要喺加拿大做嘢 (因申請 PR 要有一年加拿大工作經驗)。如果計埋搵工同到埗後 settle down 嘅時間，建議你盡快開始申請 "Open work permits for Hong Kong recent graduates"。

無租約，可以用業主信。無水電費單，可以用其他賬單，如上網服務、手提電話或信用卡月結單等。最緊要係有你個名同你申報住址嘅賬單。
請問交電話費單的話是要交齊每個月的還是最近的一份就可以？
