Ohio State had a heck of a season. Lost two QB’s that year and still won the Natty. Coach Saban was right when he said this team overachieved. They all said he was crazy hiring Lane Kiffin and starting Blake at QB. Worked out well

Ever since that year I don’t give anyone an excuse on “we played with our backup or 3rd string QB is the reason we lost” bc you either have QB depth like Ohio state or you don’t.
