Why is The Bloom Obsessed With Eyes? | Warhammer 40K Chaos Gate [E26]

I have noticed during this campaign against the forces of chaos and this insidious affliction, the Bloom is obsessed with adding a multitude of eyes to the creatures it creates and deforms. These eyes only serve as a point of focus for my brothers to focus their fire, especially our Sniper Assassin. Maybe adding more eyes to creatures gives the entity who is controlling the Bloom the ability to see what his creations are doing, but I do not have interest in that because we are going to crush this infection.
