I always thought that Godley and Creme were super serious creative types. Mr. Creme here is amazingly likable and upbeat. Man, was I wrong! and I'm glad.

Lol is multi-talented, He has such an impact on the industry with writing, directing and creating the music scene and also composing. I work with his son, Lalo..who also is very much the same coming from that strong foundation.
I absolutely loved hearing these stories! Brings back wonderful memories.

He's the only one of the classic 10cc lineup that I haven't interviwed- would love to!
He's also the only one who didn't cooperate in the recent, very authoritative 10cc biography by Liam Newton. I have no idea why he's so reticent about his days with 10cc.
@@karpizan Probably because it brings up so many painful memories. He was heartbroken when Godley left the partnership.
unbelieveable! all my favorite 80s music videos done by the same guys that were part of my favorite 70s-80s band! i didnt even know...they should have made more promotion for themselves and get financing for a feature film!!! they might have been the coen brothers of that era!

@@rampageclover9788 in the 80sography Podcast Godley stated that in the late '80s he and Lol were getting increasingly competitive with video ideas that it became frustrating working in a creative team. he claimed that's been the end of Godley & Creme on every level and he had to go on his own. in his words, even though it was unavoidable it's also been frightening to work without the safety net of having another opinion
@@escaton74 I think now that they’re older and wiser it could be done - at a slower pace than before. The 80’s were a chaotic time…it’d be different now

Well, that comes down to taste, for sure. But I don't think ANY of them can be singled out above/below the others - they were ALL multi-talented, creative artists. Let's just say we were very lucky to have them together as much as we did.
Ok this is a silly argument, all were talented, each Brough something to the band, Graham gouldman is an amazing songwriter, so many hits he has penned for other artists, very well know songs but they were all important, hugely talented.
All of 10cc were talent behind the band.Graham Goldman the quiet one but he wrote so many songs for the yardbirds Hollies Herman's hermits before he was in 10cc That's why they are such a brilliant band.No front man all so very talented.
