14:24 this won't come back, so I'll explain it (it's just a little information from that manga chapter): the token they're talking about is an "exchange medallion", is a medallion with the fingerprint of the client, and it can be divided in three parts, one for the bank, one to carry with you, and one to keep it safe somewhere you choose. I know nothing of the manga but I expected it to be like a credit card, you can't withdraw your cash without it and it takes a while to make a new one since they lost it when they portaled home ep1.
A little point you may have missed/forgotten, Marcille had mentioned she was studying magic to make her own safe dungeons. We see the little class of sorcerers learning magic and how to breed spirits, Falin leading Marcille to the naturally formed dungeon... and Marcille is is focused on how she can make her own. Notably, shes "visiting" Falins class and is rumored by the young students to be a genius and that she'll be a court magician just like her parent. So Marcille is the daughter of a court magician, a member of a very long lived race, and has gone to magic school and is visiting classes she finds pertinent to her personal research. Being the child of court magician didn't seem to be enough to gather all the research she wanted, whatever she wanted isn't something you can find books on or something her parent didn't approve of. So she needed to go out to magic schools and try and puzzle piece together what she wanted to learn. Shes always been interested in forbidden magic, shes just said it nicely lol. And when you can't find what you want to learn, you tend to learn everything adjacent to it in order to try and figure it out anyway.

I read some of the manga after the finale and got through the volume with Kabru on the cover and holy shit is there so much foreshadowing throughout these early episodes.

12:23 Marcille makes a lot of great faces throughout this series, but this one is my favorite. No joke, just pure love and bliss at having Falin back at her side.
What i hate here is that they didnt show marcille removed the tie of her hair. In the manga its quit terrifying and cool seeing marcille hair down and covered in blood

3:18 I also really wish that trigger had kept the original manga scene here where Marcille runs her bloody hand through her hair as she lets it down. It really shows how this magic she’s about to perform is different from all the other spells she’s cast so far as well as how far she’s willing to go to save Falin. Like she’s sacrificing the cleanliness of her hair which she takes a huge amount of pride in as well as the basic rule of magic to do this.
