Today I build the new 'Ramshackle Workshop' PO286 and place it on the Heartfilia Railway Layout.

Nice kit, Looks good in position on your layout . I have this kit yet to be assembled.
You should finish with the red roof tiles fitted on the apex.

timely that is............ i were just looking at, and thinking of buying, the n-size version. i done a lot of lovely Metcalfe buildings, but not for a while. which makes it extra good to see a new offering...........
having seen the entire vid......... plastic stairs?? very very disappointed to see plastic. especially when it's not totally necessary

Nice build but I am still in two minds about the Metcalfe kits. I think they look really great but I have always thought they lack texture and definition being flat printed. But I am going to get a kit and see if I can improve on those elements. Enjoyed your build and the workshop looks great on your layout.

I wonder what's ramshackle about it? Looks very neat and tidy to me. Perhaps a bit of severe weathering might help... Great video!

Metcalfe seem to build better kits, than 40yrs ago, ?
