Actually fully devastated Storm Point would be so dope. Some sea creatures walkin over the map and destroyed stuff everywhere. But I know it's too much work for a quiet new map to completely change it up already

Would have been fun to have that giant monster be a live event or a reoccurring event to kick off the season or throw a wrench into your plans as you have to deal with it.

if it were fortnite this would TOTALLY be a thing. it is a shame that apex stays so stale when it comes to events.
Even though this sounds really cool, the implications of design and execution are too big in scope to do this as a gimmick thing that would be limited. I'm sure they discussed this internally and unfortunately had to be realistic about what was achievable in the time given. In game dev it's always a balance of time/impact of work so I'm not shocked this isn't a thing. Would love to see Respawn have some dev logs to talk about this sort of thing.

Really liked this trailer but I can’t help but feel like the monster attacking storm point would’ve made for a really cool in game event rather than just a cutscene & then by the time we’re in game it’s already dead

Likely not impressive. I'm very concerned about how they're putting a lot of attention into Storm Point .. you know ... the map that everyone hates for pubs. Doesn't matter how many updates the map has, it'll still be a walking simulator where there'll be less than 10 squads after your first fight off drop.
Lifeline doesn't have her shield anymore though, but Newcastle + Lifeline will be a great combo.

@@boogit9979 Because he has her old revive shield as a tactical, except he can use it whenever. Have LL use revive drone and use NC shield, and it's her old passive, which most people considered OP. Plus his can be redirected.

@@andyherrejon558 the tactical can be moved and rotated. The cooldown is also shorter and the ability lasts longer than Gibby bubble.
@@andyherrejon558 I think it will be more than a gibby bubble cause people will stop picking gibby and just play newcastle, but I think it will provide outward coverage, and last eithe A. a gibby bubble, or B. infinitely(maybe until he uses his ULT again) or C. some where in between.

The Fuse Skin tho I love it especially when I main fuse
I like his taticals. It eliminates people shooting you from far away griefing or trying to third party you from afar. They have to commit to a push. Pretty cool and i am excited to see how the fights get crazier.

I feel like they’re not really creating any new abilities at this point, they’re just taking existing abilities and making them all fancy. And I’m totally cool with getting an instant castle outta nowhere.

S8: fuse has a scan on motherload, S9: valk has a scan upon skydiving, S10: seer has wallhacks for days, S11: maggie has that warlord thing

When we asked for a new medic I wasn't thinking that they would give us back lifelines ability.
Lifeline is the only medic one so its really nice to have a second option. Also i see the new legend more as a support one

@@whatal0ser575 same. I will likely still play her from time to time. Both of the characters have good rez abilities to be fair. Lifeline can plop the drone on you and continue to fight but Newcastle can protect you and pull you into a safer location.

I think its about time that lifeline gets some attention. Her abilities since the beginning have been taken from her and given to others, and have rendered her powerless. I can only hope respawn finally gives her the attention she deserves this season.
maybe a slightly increased revive speed from DOC? If it shaved off a second or two lifeline would be far more powerful.

RES Shield
Apex can be a very fast pace game, and so I think if she isn’t going to get her shields back it would be nice to see her gain some changes. If her abilities were changed to follow closely to Zenyatas abilities from overwatch I think that would be awesome! Possibly in that she can attach her drone to a teammate or herself which heals them while moving at a slower pace, or place on the floor and heal faster but is stationary. With her ult, scratch the care package, and instead have a stronger version of her drone, where she becomes a heal radius for her teammates; meaning when she activates her ult she automatically heals her teammates (not instantly, and not like dummies big day ability we saw) which in turn will allow her team to group up and or reposition! I think this would be incredible for her, and would not make her incredibly OP.
IMO the ult people have been suggesting in which it respawns your teammates would be incredibly positionable and once again hardly used. I think a more fast pace ult like I’ve suggest would be better.
