Season 21 of Apex Legends known as Upheaval will be releasing soon, and the brand new Skirmisher Legend, known as Alter, will be joining The Apex Games.
Alter's Passive: Gift From The Rift - Alter can remotely interact with a box to claim one item, but it cannot be armor.
Alter's Tactical: Void Passage - Alter can create a portal passageway through a surface.
Alter's Ultimate: Void Nexus - Alter can create a group point that all allies can remotely interact with to open a phase tunnel back to that location.

I’m 50/50 on it, to be honest. I think Alter has the potential to be really good, and her ult could make for some good plays, but there is also the chance that it just isn’t that good. Overall, I’m not sure how I feel about Alter.

Honestly I think they're good abilities, but it seems lacking creatively. She just feels like a mix of ash, old revanant death totem, and a bit of wraith

@@chappieletters_No? You can pick a surface to go through. As shown, it doesn’t have to be perfectly above you or in front of you; you can go kind of diagonal, so long as it is within the 20 meter depth and is a valid surface.

I just realized that the ultimate is kind off one of my original apex concepts tactical, bassicly you press the tac button to set a location and then if you press it again then you phase back, but it wont ever reset so if you forget about it then you tp across the entire map into the storm
A one time use tactical would be ass

Wattson is the best counter to her. Her tactical shows up before she does, and you can fence her so easy.
Im excited to try her out. She’s definitely gonna keep campers on their toes if she can just create wall portals like that.
Campers are going to use her themselves to go through every obstacle and instantly teleport from one hiding spot they mark to the next.

Her ult looks like a tactical insert from CoD, but you need to leave it somewhere tactical you want to return to, where it won't be found. Her portal looks nuts too.

If you play with smart players she will be super good!
The idea behind her plays are good but in practice her Q is gonna make you feel like a mouse trap at both end with enemy waiting for you. And the Ultimate's most likely either not gonna be used ever by teammates or used too quickly and leave you by yourself

My thesis lore wise is that she is a different version of horizon from another universe of sorts, maybe creating her when she went thru the black hole. I say this, only because they have something in common, and there was some are of horizon, but her silhouette being alter. Definitely excited for it
