- Never heard of the Greek Island Lefkada!? Neither had we! Come along with us as we explore Lefkada, the island that's been nicknamed 'The Caribean of Europe!' due to it's amazing beaches, cliff views and unbelievable turquoise waters.
Lefkada is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea, connected to the mainland by a causeway. West coast beaches Porto Katsiki and Egremni Beach offer stunning views and were our favourite beaches to visit. The east coast is known for its traditional villages, including the seaside resort of Nydri. In the north, Lefkada town is the island's gateway and capital. Vassiliki, in the south, attracts windsurfers and offers lots of different watersports options.
With regard to renting a vehicle we used Lefkada Rental & Travel Solution, the office of which can be found on the main walkway in Nydri.
Buggy- 60 Euros per day
Jeep- 70 Euros per day
My father took me to Greece to meet his family in early 2000s My cousins took me to Port of the Goats beach they blind folded and me walked me to the cliff and wala my jaw dropped amazing beautiful place I highly recommend it

The beach is actually called Porto Katsiki in English and in Greek.
Loved yourbeach your in Lefkada. It’s a fabulous island isn’t it. Gosh that walk down to one of the beaches looked horrendous especially in the heat. The sea is beautiful everywhere you go and especially as it’s warm and so easy to get in. Beautiful. Keep on making your videos. They’re great.

Yes we’ve been to Lefkada but due to the heat we didn’t travel round to different beaches. We had a very relaxed week either round the pool or down at the local beach. So it was good to see what we missed. I’d love to go again!

Egremni Beach😃 400 steps down is ok, but 400 steps up nightmare in + 30 degrees. (july 2022) And 1.1 km to walk to the car omg.

Oh lord, if you are taking any cruise, dont take that one that's behind you; there are 2 boats, one bigger one smaller. When we went with the small one, there were some big waves towards egremni and porto and fiscardo and it was a nightmare lol :D
No way! It’s hard to imagine the waves being that big, it seemed so calm when we were there. Good to know though! 👍Hope they atleast played some decent tunes for you!😂🙂

don't say "never heard of"... Lefkada is too crowded in season already thx to (mostly) Brittish travellers... i have no problem with you guys, don't get me wrong. i have problem with crowded places :D In fact early and late season is pretty nice there! :) A lovely Island to have a break.
