Marcelito's story is nearly as amazing as his voice. His mother rejected him at birth and custody was given to his father (they had separated), unfortunately his father was serving a lengthy prison sentence, so little baby Marcelito spent the first 2 years of his life in prison with his father. He was then adopted by a prison guard, but it was not a happy childhood and at 9 years old he discovered they were not his real parents and he ran away. He survived by selling food snacks on the city streets. He says he learnt to sing with two voices (not uncommon in the Philippines) as a way to combat the loneliness. He earned extra by singing in bars and cafe's. He met a girl, fell in love and they married. They now have a child of their own, and he has been reconciled to his birth father. He entered Philippines Got Talent last year 2016, and of course won it hands down. He has turned his life around and I am so happy for him.
He’s from the Philippians, grew up very poor and had a hard life. It is a gift from God to us all.
The most amazing thing is he is self taught with no voice lessons.
He has a GOD given talent....no actual voice training, a famous Filipino singer known for having a combination voices of tenor & soprano. 34 years old, married with 1 daughter, very humble guy, down to earth.

Hahaha he is real, and he is a famous singer in our country, Philippines, we are proud of him, and he has many songs, both female and male versions...and he is really amazingly unbelievable....unique, rare, what else...it's like he is being possessed when he is singing dual voice.

It was spanish language , Italian is pertaining to people in Italy. AS you say - American? , they are the people in America, but their language its American English specifically as there is a British English.

It's not possible to have a voice with that kind of range. Impossible-and yet he does. It's an absolute marvel. To add to it: He doesn't have any vocal training. He's a phenomenon; it's otherwordly.
Andrea Bocelli....the opera singer. He started his life out and at the age of 2 yrs. old....his mother left him. Not too long after, his father was put in jail, where he had to go since he had no support from family. He stayed in jail for awhile, and one of the guards felt sorry for him and took him home. He stayed there until about age 8 and then set out for himself, doing what he could (cleaning store fronts, working on construction sites, etc) to support and feed himself. He said he stumbled upon his dual voice while he was working on the chicken farms. I absolutely LOVE him.!!

Marcelito, does this gig by imitating and singing like other famous singer. He also does special effect sounds like door bells, cartoon characters etc. He also does it live on stage with famous singers while standing behind them singing their hit song as they laugh because they know he sounds exactly like them. He sings just a few bars then the original artist fineshes.

Marcelito is on a league of his own! He deserved that gift that God gave him; growing up all alone in the streets in the Philippines at a very young age searching for his family. He used to sing to himself for comfort. He discovered his gifts at the age of 18. The bus is a travelling radio station in Metro Manila, Philippines. The intention is to showcase filipino talents even foreigners are welcome if they want to sing in a moving radio station bus. Very unique, isn't it... famous or not u can sing in the bus. You have to subscribe if you are really interested to hear some more, i mean really more filipino artists. Wish 107.5 Bus is an FM Radio Station on wheels. It features mostly Filipino artists, but foreigners are featured as well. You will discover that there are a lot of superb and unique Filipino artists on this station. Marcelito Pomoy, the man with two voices, was a grand winner of a Pilipinas Got Talent show. Although his talent to sing with both male and female voices is common in the Philippines, Marcelito does it the best. To foreigners, this is so shocking though 😁. May I suggest to you one that is very amazing - Katrina Velarde, singing Burn by Ellie Goulding, using the voices of 8 famous singers. One song, 8 distinctive voices and styles. Now that's amazing.
