I just got my first designer bag, a Mulberry Bayswater.
I would never in a million years have ever thought I’d have got a bag like that. It just wasn’t on my radar.
But sadly my Uncle passed away very suddenly from cancer last summer. He left behind his collection of very expensive watches that we sold to a family friend and then split the money between me and my 3 cousins. I was just going to use my bit of money towards my wedding, or put it in my savings for a rainy day. However my mum talked me into treating myself and seeing it as one last gift from my wonder Uncle 💕
Every time he gave me money for Christmas or birthdays he’d say “make sure you get something good with that! Don’t be spending it on your bills. Get something for YOU”
So I know he’d be delighted that I’ve got something I can treasure for a lifetime!

I’m so glad you talked about coach. It’s a brand that my great grandma, grandma, mom and me have always loved. They have a great warranty. And if something happens to your bag after the first year of ownership, you can send it in for $25 for repair. They will send you a gift card for your bag’s worth if they cannot fix it.
Whenever I will buy a designer bag for myself one day I will probably ask myself: “would Freddy buy that?” If the bag makes it through that test it’s probably worth it ;)

I have read The Secret too. I was so impressed with it, I decided I was only going to say positive things starting right then! Do you know how many negative things we say in a day?? I couldn’t do it for a week!! Negative things we say all the time and don’t think about it: I’m so hot, my feet hurt, OMG this line is so long, my friend is always late, this stupid car won’t start, etc!! I was amazed at how hard it was, and how much I complained!! Anyway, I’m glad the Universe brought you the bag of your dreams!! I’m a bag person too-all my are cheap, but I can still be thrilled with them!

I love when you said you tried to silently begged the sell assistant to keep the Prada bag for you and she did lol. I did that for my customers when i was working in a luxury shoe store, too. I don’t know why and how but i can look into a girl’s eyes and know exactly when she wants a pair of shoes so bad that she got to have it no matters what, i would definitely keep it for her. Girls to girls, we got to help each other shine.

I actually have a similar story to the Prada bag... so basically I was at the airport one day rushing to get to my flight and out of the corner of my eye I saw the gucci store and there was a white bag with a red and blue bow. Something about that bag made me want it so I searched constantly online for it and no luck, so once I arrived back into the states one month later I went to the mall and at the gucci store window I saw the bag. I immediately went inside and tried it on,I believed it was too much money so I searched it up online and had it in a browser tab like you, soon I decided to get it as a birthday gift and it’s the happiest purchase of mine

You should film a video all about the basics of bags: how to wear them (do you stuff the crossbody chain in the bag itself?), your longest-lasting bags, best budget-friendly bags, how to remove stains from denim on light-colored bags. How do you store them? Do you stuff them with tissue paper to hold their shape?

Thank you for showing us your lovely collection. Personally, I never liked the Gucci Dionysus. It looks so heavy and clunky to me. I really liked your other bags tho. (FYI I believe the clasp are serpents, one of the sacred animals of the Greek god Dionysus, after which the bag was named)

I enjoy Freddy, she is honest about what she likes. Yes, Freddy may not buy from cheaper stores like a lot of people and to be honest it makes sense that she buys where she buys. She is buying what she can afford and that’s okay. If that’s not being honest then I don’t know what is. Plus, her buying from more expensive places doesn’t mean you can’t recreate/reimagine/inspire an outfit with clothes from cheaper stores (that’s what I do tbh). For me Freddy inspires a look I’d like to achieve when I have more money but through her I can be more creative in how I can look better and feel expensive in cheaper clothing. Freddy don’t stop doing what you do, your honesty is perfect. You aren’t snobby 90.5% of the time and it’s fine, no one is perfect. Okay I’m done, thank you for your time.
I love it that you love less expensive handbags because you truly love handbags before luxury. There are those that love luxury first and handbags second (their handbags must be luxury). I have several luxury handbags and slg's but I must admit that my favourite pieces are from Coach (and my 2 Kate Spade Cedar Street Maise bags & matching wallets). Coach is so knocking it out of the park these days!

Excellent video! Enjoyed purses. A bit of a misleading on “The Secret”... you werent only looking at the photo of that purse, you were taking actions on saving money and selling stuffs. You were prepared for when dream were ready to come true. If you were over the head in debt....different story. That book as amazing as it is, doesnt tell us that dreams need to be followed by the right actions. By the question “HOW?”. You were working hard on your channel to get another bag offered for “free”, you werent just sitting in bed all depressed, you worked hard and earned those gifts from the Universe. 😘😘😘
