We had an awesome time at VOA this year. I do have a question though. A gentleman next to me said to his wife “I saw this” when Bill was speaking. And now I see that this VOA video from another time is the exact same message. That’s disheartening. How often does Bill repeat his sermons? It takes away from my being able to believe in what happened there. Disappointed.

Why would that take away from your ability to believe? (I ask sincerely) It's still a good word even if its "repeated." The Word doesn't lose its efficacy just because it's been preached before. Don't be disappointment, but believe.

Bill often repeats the same message 4 times in a day at Bethel, and each time it's a little different, as he sees deeper aspects, and different points get drawn, so if he's already preached something similar before, that's a good thing for you, because it means he's getting deeper into the concept, and you are likely to receive something more powerful than the first time he went through it.
He's not reading a script, he has an outline, and often takes side trips off of it lol

I have noticed that the Holy Bible...
also has many repeated messages. If we have supernatural hearing in the spirit, (we do!) We then can move toward supernatural understanding.
Remember what God said to Cain before he killed Able? If only Cain had heard, and understood.

sometimes when God gives us a message he delivers it to us for us to sit on it sometimes for many months. The message Bill is speaking is first and foremost for him!. This is why when we recieve a word from the Lord it may take us months to process it and mull over it in various ways. It is not 'repeating' it is digesting the meat of the word. Why are you disheartened when the lord is speaking such a powerful message? You say it takes away your 'belief' in what really happened there".This is an issue regarding your 'unbelief' not Bill Johnson's unction from the Holy Spirit to deliver a word ( said numerous times to many audiences).When we feel 'disheartened by a sermon or a worship moment we need to check our heart and ask the Lord to show us what are heart is really focused on then ask the Holy Spirit to recalibrate our heart back to the Lord. Don't let the enemy steal and destroy that precious seed that He wanted to plant in your heart through Bill's sermon. As i write this i feel the holy spirit telling me that this is the EXACT message that the Lord needs you to meditate on and listen to repeatedly. Thanks for your honesty in sharing your heart my sister In Christ!
