Looks like you had a blast there Chops, it's good to be reminded how much fun all bikes are if approached with the right mindset. 😀
Nice review as ever Chops. I enjoy the smaller bikes & there's not enough reviews of them. They're affordable, unintimidating, accessable to all & with plenty of fun to be had as you demonstrated.
Yes absolutely RR 👍
Check out Spicy110 or MotorsfortheMasses for small bike reviews 👍
@@stewartnorton6386 Cheers. Already subscribed to Spicy110. ; )
Absolutely brilliant video. Took me back to my youth and my early days of riding.
Laughing throughout but as ever Chops really informative. 👍🏻
20st on a 125, brought a smile to my face. Kudos to the bike for getting you over 60mph!
The Chinese bikes I've seen around, most less than 6 months old, do seem to suffer terribly with rust though.
Nice to see somebody doing a video on a small bike, I own a bmwk1200s , zx6r and a Honda cg125 for commuting to work and I have a blast on the cg plus 260miles to a tank puts a smile on my face😀. Keep up the good work chops, love your vids👍👍👍
Good man Chopsie, that is just the kind of bike to get youngsters into riding. Cheap, crashes well and will be an economical commuter. I’m also thinking what a great MotoTeam racer that would make at Kart Tracks😊
Those Sinnis bikes look like a lot of fun. I hope we can get them in Australia soon. Thanks Chopsy.
I laughed the whole way through this. You had fun but and that is what it’s all about. I tucked my tuono 660 factory away for the winter and decided to buy a Benelli tnt 125 to have a laugh on around country lanes during the winter and it’s exactly like this. Hills and wind are your enemy and 50mph corners are scary and when you make it round the corner flat out you deffo are just like Peter Hickman lol. Good laugh. Great review chopsy. I enjoyed watching that alot lol
Ha ha ......love it Chops ❤
I must admit it......Sinnis make some good looking machine's of the smaller capacity and with the price of fuel currently (putting in ten pounds of petrol at pump 3 which is now only getting me to as far as pump 4 !)........could we see more people considering one of these for commuting? Who knows?
Nice going Chops. Enjoyable review as always mate. 👍😊
Thanks Dean and yes completely agree! 👍
Back to the roots of motorcycle adventure, showing just how much fun you could have small bike great video should do more 🤣
Craig it was brilliant fun 👍👍
Okay that was quite fun, good man👏
Really enjoyed the vid. Makes a change
might get one as my first motorcycle before doing direct entry next year - some green laning and off-roading seems like the best way to get comfortable on a bike before getting a fast road bike
I like my 125's. They are like the antidote to my real bikes. You can just go out and hammer them mercilessly with no cares at all. You can tune them, blow them up - whatever and it costs less than just fuelling the larger ones. Cheap and fun.
I was a little unimpressed with this one's speed though. I was expecting it to be quite a lot faster than my MSX but watching the speedo I'm wondering how much of that claimed 14.8hp its actually making. Its about 5mph up on my MSX but it doesn't look like its accelerating any faster and the MSX is claimed at 8hp.
My Mito would make either look silly but then a 33hp (allegedly) 2-stroke should.
Great review Chops. More of this fun kind of riding, please. Do they do a 250cc or 400cc version?
my 125 and still the best second hand 125 to buy is a 2011+ cbr125
That thing does 86mph easily and when you put down one tooth on the front for more torque it pulls so well, engine is very reliable I was bouncing that thing of the limiter everywhere i went.
went wales on it and etc loved it!
when your tank was £12 to fill up and got you over 4 hours travel you feel so damn free!
You certainly know how to polish a turd chopsy !!! Love it ... seriously hoonable fun on a 125... Great vid
I walked past a GSXR300 recently and thought it was a fantastic looking bike like the RD lc bikes we used to ride but more trick. i'd love one of those little gsx R's. Not sure I could go back to a restricted 125 though it looked fun. One of my favourite bikes was a Suzuki TSR 125, unresticted with a 10 mm spanner within 5 minutes to 25 bhp
I wonder if you can get a 175 kit for it and a micron slip on :) great video.
🤣😂🤣 brilliant
Old woman has a ninja 125 and ya right Mr chops, pinned everywhere and great fun lol 😆
The overtaking is a life or death situation everytime 😂🤣
Great review 👍👍
This will make your promo. Good fun chopsy
"Peter Hickman" 🤣
The questions on all these relate spares, service items and longevity ... but it made for a fun vid 😁👍
5 years ago I picked up 8 brand new sinnins 125'5 . 4 scoots and 4 c&g's
During the journey from Brighton to Hertfordshire ( 90 mins) 3 of them lost their fuel when the petcocks fell out. When wheeling them off the ramp, the 2 inch drop to the tarmac caused the instruments in the binnacle to fall off inside the housing on another two ( 5 down so far). The kickstand broke on one first use, so that fell over within 3 mins and smashed the kerbside panels and indicators. We repaired all 6 and they went on hire,
All 8 were returned within weeks due to crucial failures, breakages and terminal problem's..
I took all 8 back as scrap ( category d insurance assessed) within 30 days of them being registered..
NEVER....BUY....SINNIS !!!
The engine is probably the longest lasting component. If you're luck enough to get a good one, it'll last for a couple of years. If not, maybe 6 months at in town levels. 6 weeks at the levels choppy rides.. everything else however, will fall off and/or break.
I couldn't get rid of the terrain I bought quick enough. Very unreliable. Traded it in for a Yamaha MT125. The difference was night and day.
Yeah that's not great is it... let's hope they have improved! I know Bruce Teapotone rode one around the whole of the UK back to back took him 54 hours or something without any issues. But yes as I said this was only a quick blast so longevity wasn't tested
Agreed, they absolutely rubbish, I have 2 customers who had them, luckily one was stolen 😅
That looked so much fun as long as stay on the back roads .
Good to see you reviewing the smaller bikes chopsy.
Maybe the Sinnis is the way to go Chops if you’re having problems keeping the H2 shiny side up……..👍
Would be good to see your review and thoughts of you any of the zontes ranges
Certainly a nice looking bike. Think it would need a liberal coating of acf-50 to get it through the winter.
That’s a great little bike for the cash.Ideal for city ripping and you don’t have to worry to much that it’s gonna get stolen lol.I think KTM are releasing a 125 TPI this year.I bet that will be a bunch of fun.
I remember that glorious feeling of hitting a downhill bit and thrashing the nuts out of it, for the uphill bits. Seems like you had that feeling come flooding back from your memories. For me being, a 70's teen, it was the FS1E and with me on it, being a light weight, downhill, flat on the tank, feet on the rear pegs and the wind behind me, 60 was it!!! Something still very special about a small capacity, thrasher.....Great vid that mate, you made me laugh out loud.
Yamaha YB100 for me in the 80s. It could do 50 with a light tailwind. Rode that bike everywhere. I loved it.
For me it was a KTM Comet Cross. With only 3 BHP on tap reaching 50 was a good day.
Those horses earned their hay today John. 😆
Funny little bike, hows the H2 doing any parts sourced yet, you know I've never seen an H2 on the road ever, only at the bike show at the NEC years ago, all the best with the repairs, I feel your pain.👍👍👍👍🇬🇧
Yeah managed to get a new panel half price so that was a bargain... Still £500 though! Not stripped anything down yet but think res bottle and inner faring panel is also busted 😫
@@LambChopRides well at least the repair has started now, I hope all goes well getting parts etc.good lick Chops. 👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
I still have a 125 in my collection does the school run when the traffics bad goes to the shops and back 😂my eldest is 17 next month so I’ll be riding it with him that will be a laugh
Fully upside down suspention 😂 nice one chops 👏
Love to see you testing a honda Grom 😂
All the big companies should make a 450 super motard😛
After parking up the s1000rr and s83 cruiser I have been riding my son's stomp 140. What a laugh
This would definitely replace my grom, those extra hp would come in handy.
But I don't think we have that brand in the states.
20 Stone and it’s handling like a steaming turd ..
This phrase will stick for a while..
Riding on two wheels ( motorised ⚡️) in combination with your infectious enthusiasm is a joy to watch .
“Roll the intro” for the starting biker💪
You have to feel for that little engine with Chops thrashing it. Bless! 🤣🤣🤣
Sinnis vs WR125x....these bikes have come along way, im surprised they are finally making the full 15hp
Hahaha thrash that thing, v satisfying being on the stop
Love it. 👊
A short question regarding the filming Chopsy, which editing software do you use for the Insta360? It always looks superb. I have the 360 camera since this summer and the footage is great but to keep tracking the object (frontal view where the combo rider & bike is in view) is a nightmare with Insta360 Studio.. Thanks for your help!
Hi buddy, yes I use insta360 studio and does take some effort to keep it looking natural. You get used to it though 👍
@@LambChopRides OK, will persist ;-) The key 'key frame' will become my best friend ;-) Cheers for your reply, much appreciated
I’d be sifting through the used ads after a dtx 125 or a mx 125 didn’t take much at all get them to full power
diffrent exhust prob help slightly ...
Wonder if they make a 250cc supermoto ? The 125 seems not quite enough for me, but a 250 might be just enough.
Aww takes me back to my first 125cc it was a lifan trail bike it was £950 on the road brand new I ended up putting a sprocket and put bigger jet in the carb wee bike was good for 80mph when I was 17 was brilliant fun then I ended up with an rs125 aprilia with a massive 33hp was an animal lol 😂
Widow maker!! 🤣👍
Perhaps 33(ish) years has dulled my memory of 125cc of throbbing power but I remember my mk3 RD125 (had the TZR engine) hitting triple figures.
Perhaps Chopsy’s powerful physique is artificially hampering the Sinnis.
Your 125 had twice the HP
I wouldn't mind a 400cc for the odd short journey.
I wouldn't mind seeing more smaller cc bikes from you Chops!
i brought a Ninja 400 because it can do EVERYTHING in a not losing my license way. Dam fun and so easy to work on im a mechanic again. My big cc sports bike sits at home lol😀
@@robvanduren761
Yeah I have a Superduke R but I don't want to get it out when they start throwing grit all over the road!
I used to have a baby blade back in my youth and loved it..
Tempted to get another 400!
seems like this revision has take design cues crom the WR125X
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Where I live the most popular 125s with teenagers are scooters, but these 125 supermotos must come in 2nd place. Although still greatly outnumbered by scooters.
Me and the boys all bought 125’s for the crack, ive gone from riding H2 and turbo busas to a Honda XR125 and I’ve never had so many laughs.
It is a well spec'd motorcycle, but would have been way beyond my budget at 17 years old.... I don't think I'd want to do a PCP deal on a bike like this!
Gotta realise Chopsie, I bet lots of learner bikers watch channels like yours while they're waiting to pass their test so you should accommodate them as well.
Unfortunately Nick they never do very well, its just not my target audience.
£3,400 is a bargain? What's the resale values like? I remember when Pulse Adrenaline's were £1800 brand new and that wasn't all that long ago. I'll stick to my £500-1000 shitters.
No going back in time for me, maybe I would consider a minimum engine size of 400cc.
Had a sinnis apache smr. Back to dealer twice with fuelling issues and then throttle stuck wide open. Build quality is as expected given the price but dangerous? No thanks it went back.
That’s the fastest 50mph I’ve ever seen.
Ah but does it wheelie 👍👍😂😂
hahahahahaa perfect bike to learn on!!!!!
Poor little bike Chopsy, probably thinks it's carrying 2 skinny youths ! Are you taking this one down to the Jurassic coast ? 🙂
Would you like to arrange a meet Choppsy so you can do a review on my brand new KTM Duke 125? Let me know👍
You probably regret this video when it starts trending and your pressured to do even more 125cc reviews!
No chance haha
"a 20 stone, 6 foot 2 elephant"?
Now imagine what I look like (22 stone, 5'9'') on my MSX...
A hippo, maybe?
After riding electric I can't go back to combustion . It's good you still enjoy it but for me it's a pass .
I think this bike would be a good commuter If you don't have to go too far
Try not to drop it. 😂
Wow, that's mean....but a little bit funny......but still really mean lol. ; )
Haha had to be one 🤣👍
Test riding a supermoto only means one question: CAN IT WHEELIE?
My brand new 1995 aprilia rs125 extremma made 33 bhp , 15 when restricted.
Would crack 100 mph
Was that a 4stoke or 2stroke?
@@LambChopRides 2 stroke
Miss that castrol R smell
Who wouldnt have guess DIMSUM tires LoL!
Chinese bikes got expensive, used to be half that back in the day
A 125cc 14.8bhp Chinese engine is as bout as fast as my Japanese 125cc 9bhp grom engine
A Chinese bike, Behind a hearse …It’s a worry chops.
Brilliant 🤣🤣🤣
I’m with you chopsy, not really interested in 125s, unfortunately I had to watch it as it’s on your channel 🤣 but please leave the small bikes to the girl with the screeching voice, so I don’t have to watch them 🤣🤣👊✊️✊️
that poor engine sounds like it's going to let go anytime but you get what you pay for i would rather buy a second had mint 125 from one of the other big four myself if i was starting over again .
Never 14hp more like 10 to 12 max.
Chops, do you think the lack of power and smaller brakes make 125cc bikes inherently more dangerous?
No. They're learner bikes.
Its like any motorcycle you have to treat it with respect. Overtakes are probably the most dicey...
@@Nickbaldeagle02 it depends on the frame size, if it's mini sized you wanna stick a 140 in it before you end up as road kill.
Top speed tip = you just need a steeper hill.......and more cake & donuts
Haha 😆👍
An 11 stone 17 year old on that would make it a viable alternative to a GSXR1000! 😂
Now jump on the 690 😉
Ducati look it’s got a fuel gauge 125
Put a CRF450 engine in it 😂
Chinese Chops ;)
Actually a UK company but made with Chinese parts 👍
Can't be any worse than the Lexmoto I had new in 2020 🤷😂
4 stroke 125 bikes are dangerously slow.
I can’t see this shit as a bargain, save up and buy a cb500 or ncx750
I had heaps of Chinese bikes they are no different than Japanese bikes don't no why everyone bags Chinese bikes remember when Japanese bikes came on the market everyone bags them to most bikes are made in china and India
Unbelievably stupid overtake 125 power or not, if lorry had any kind of f hazard on his nearside lamb chip rides would have become lamb chop mince, that 125 is undoubtedly slow but riding like that will still kill you.
0 to 60 in 3 days ,
Looks OK, remind me not to buy this ,
You burnt it out engine is glowing ,
what I've learned owning a Sinnis Terrain 21 model..
Warranty is next to useless, says 2 years, but it may aswell be 1 as labour isnt covered for the second one.
Dealerships are few and far between and not very reliable. parts are few.
bolts are made of chewing gum, rounding them will happen, even when being careful, and will rust immediately if not protected.
paint finish is abismal, thin as anything and a lot of parts not bonded properly to metal.
will cost a fortune in servicing as the intervals are so absurdly short, would have spent half the money buying a quality used jap bike.
when you go to sell it, I guarantee nobody will take it in for part ex.
for £3,400 you could buy a serious reliable full power jap bike that wont depreciate like a rock.
Thats my two cents, seems like a false economy to me. If I could make the decision again I wouldn't buy again.
Absolutely, and that's apart from addressing the issue of buying anything from China, and effectively bolstering the CCP economy.
