    My boat almost sank. It had a leak and the bilge pump had stopped working. I floored both motors and got it going and pulled the drain plug. Once it all drained out I put it back in and went back in. Easy peasy.

      How were you able to pull your drain plug from inside the boat while it’s on plane? And then you were able to put it back in? Sounds like fake news!

      The drain plug is on the outside of the boat between the motors at the bottom of the vee. Its easy to remove, bend between the motors and lift the flange and pull. The water drains out.

    It's not sinking - the guy behind the wheel just has such giant cajones that the boat sits really low when not at full throttle.

    is there bilge pumps going, I can't see anything pumping, or what about a external pump placed on board why isn't that happening, the coast guard would have that

      I was told by another race boat captain that he was going 80 in his boat when this green boat passed him like he was standing still. After a while the captain caught up to the green boat, where he saw it out on lake michigan with the back motors fully under water. Charlivoix is known for its large boulders. The thought was the green boat may have hit one. Everyone on the green boat was evacuated. Sherrif and coast gaurd was sent out. He was pulled in by another boat.

    Click-bait...this boat is impossible to sink, even completely flooded... DUH

    From my experience -if you get directly behind the wake of another boat you will sink ..... air bubbles

    • @johnprendergast1338
      @johnprendergast1338 Před rokem

      Obviously, you haven't had this experience...It's all about prop-wash..If it's a fan prop you get more air bubbles ...If he was behind the large boat, well-it depends ..@@alfpaulsen3210

      @xxlxpman Před rokem +1

      I can only suggest ,if you have the opportunity, that you get behind a tugboat in a 22 ft Bayboat ....About 50 ft should convince you..Experience is a great teacher .. @@xxlxpman

    I'd hardly call a boat with outboard motors a thunder boat.
