This worked! My fingers are a little raw from trying to get that big electrical piece disconnected from the sensor but after applying a little leverage with a flathead screwdriver, it popped out. Everything else was super easy. My machine is running again. $12, 30 min and this guy’s step-by-step video and I’m done. Thank you!

Thank You! The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I purchased replacement on Amazon and disassembled/assembled and then ran the spin cycle and it worked as it should. I did review another video that was not as well made for DYI but did provide an element to look out for...the splines may be damaged by heavy and/or uncentered loads (similar to thread damage). Again, i greatly appreciate this DYI video.

It makes a lot of knocking sounds on some spins with light loads. Have you come across this with any LG machine? I’ve watched a few videos on CZcams and seen others making this noise too. How can you tell if you need the whole rotor or just the sensor?
