The Historian had me so confused, I guess bc I kept going out of it while reading other books. Have you read The Great Witch of Brittany by Louisa Morgan? That series is really good. any suggestions you could make on books similar to that would be great.

If you want to read a good Dracula story, read the one by Dacre Stoker (yes, that's Brahm Stoker's descendant) called Dracula the Undead.
Another vampire book I love is called Companions of the Night by Vivian Van Velde.
