$80? F-35 is over $180 million but that’s not including $500 billion in research & development. So it’s actually around $300 million each. The military didn’t even want this plane but Lockheed Martin owns your politicians so they voted for it to keep getting campaign money from Lockheed. Oh yea, this is the same military that lost $2.5 trillion. Same politicians that bought $1 trillion of military equipment for Afghanistan freedom but then left it all to Taliban. But military Industrial complex loved the $1 trillion in sales. Just as Afghanistan ended, sales began to fall so we got Ukraine. Now Lockheed Martin, etc asking us to spend $10b a month on more military equipment
well you should also mention that this aircraft is a pain in ass to maintain, and I guess it was designed that way to make more money on parts and supplies, like magnets for engine, special paint to be replied everytime, a lot of chips and microcircuis to be replaced. So we are not even informed how much money spent on just keep them in good condition, although it have been prooven to be an absolutely useless aircraft, it almost not seen any battle, or simply not fit for any, so all they does is flying on drills, sitting on ground and absorb money. This is not even a fighter aircraft, its a stealth bomber, and today drones can do that job for less money, no risk for pilot, and just as efficient, and in fact that is the reason F-35 is out of business, drone does its job, and when drone can't do something, usually neighter F-35, like dropping some heavy bomb, in that case the bomb can't fit in the bay, so stealth doesnt work, you better use old fashion F-16, F-15 which has bigger operation range.
Nice ending. But what if the poster had those little dangly things with a phone number and someone reads the poster and then tears it off.....like they found it?
