Growing up as an only child with divorced parents one bipolar and epileptic the other a raging alcoholic I felt I was the reason for them being how they were. If I got a B I was told it wasn't good enough and was put down. Getting married had problems in counseling found out I Married my parents no matter what I did it wasn't right or good enough. Finding someone who really cares and listens to you and really understands because of a connection where they can relate is a gift from God No matter how late in life this happens You have a gift from God, who sent someone to stand with you and be there for you. Everything happens for a reason trust it. What other artist can we think of that's LEGIT wrote a 6 day story of their troubles and real life outside of their music? His vulnerability and bravery is HUGE and I know it's helping those in the dark, because it's helping me. He's a real human, with a real human story, and his talent is just a gift he was meant to share. Ugh, I'm loving this so much, even though it's so hard to hear!

Ren just has a way with words and the way he delivers them. We’re used to it in his music, but it’s just as brilliant when reading out these chapters even with him being nervous. Also that wonderful sense of humour that finds it way into it despite the darkness. How can you not just love this man?

I think he's uncomfortable with the sharing. Its not that he wants to do it he needs to do it to fulfill a promise he made to himself.
He sure knows how to end on a cliffhanger! I wonder if that girl was Bibi, the one in the Crutch video? He has that knack that you could listen to him tell a story for hours, even if it wasn't his own one as well.

Not going to comment about the video itself.. ive been watching your reaction videos for quite some time and always appreciate the way you come across in all your videos with honesty and real heartfelt comments but off the beaten track a bit now.. im not sure i like the new "boppy" intro but i do realise you appeal to a very wide audience and your much younger than me 🙄 so i do get the change and you spicing it up a bit so i just F FWD to the reaction now, carry on being you thats whats important but obversational remark thats all.

Oh, no. I don’t feel that way at all. For me, these are very uniting and very cohesive. It brings us together as people. And as reactors, when we hear his music, this is the whole back story for enrichment 💕. I might be a reactor, but I am a huge fan.
