Chris is the current vocalist of The Revival Sound. He was the singer of Emarosa when they were called Corsets Are Cages and wrote the lyrics for 'Utah, But I'm Taller'. It was eventually shortened to Utah.

Here in 2023 to say, wow this sounds incredibly good. Like, the literal recording sounds great. I can't believe the 2008 tech was able to capture the sound so well...but the band sounds great, too! "I won't wait for yoouou" - man, this is a gem of a video for the mid-2000s alt/post scene.
Thanks! We were always amazed how well my crappy Panasonic DV camera actually sounded. Glad someone noticed. Haha.

Roberts was the original vocalist, before Roetter.

Chris from The Revival Sound was in the band before Chris from Agraceful. They have had three vocalist and this features the first and the third. They changed their name after Chris Roetter joined, shortly before the EP came out.

Chris Roberts sang on the 4 Song Demo when the band was called Corsets Are Cages. Chris Roetter sang on the first Emarosa EP. Jonny never recorded it.

Emarosa has had three vocalist and this is the first one. They recorded a three song demo CDR under the name Corsets Are Cages with him.
@Swansen03 Firebird was waaaay before Roetter. It was all Roberts.
They should definetly get chris back in the band, and keep jonny with it.

ya its more circumstantial Hes a bit younger than anthony so we gotta see how he handles his own solo stuff and the new emarosa album due later this year but hes got potential to do anthony up not saying I dont love anthony greens music jonny craig can just give you goosebump at shows when he hits those notes that I don't get from anthony live. just listen to the "reach the end" part of casablanca with jonny its amazing.
Why did Chris leave any ways? Because when jonny joined the band he was already long gone!
i don't know much about the history of who wrote the songs, but in my opinion, Chris Roetter was my favorite Corsets are cages singer. he had some Golden Pipes! haha. and dude, if you look closely. you can see two singers. they switch places at around 1:45. if i'm correct the second one looks a lot like Roetter!

And so you know...Madison was never a part of any recording. He just toured with them for like a month. Roberts was only a part of the three song demo as Corsets Are Cages.

about me should be updated. this is not chris roberts this is chris roetter. the vocalist for "this is your way out" (EP) he is the current vocalist for agraceful. who is signed to sumerian records. in my opinion they were better with chris roetter than they are now with johnny.

He didn't really get kicked out. He and the band just kind of split. At the time, he was tired of touring and then everything happened with DGD and Jonny. Things just kind of fell into piece.
