Isles & Glaciers (Chiodos, Pierce the Veil, Emarosa, The Receiving End of Sirens, and Underminded) playing Clush at their first live performance at the AP Day Party at SXSW.
@@WittenmyerMusic the name wasn't directy made because drug addiction. It was made from a combination of things ideas, jokes, and other things. You can find out more by just talking to Craig on any of his tours or im sure it's online. Now, Jonny named his future band "Slaves" because of drug addiction. Would've been interesting if those 2 both made a band name years later because of the same reason.
Felt nostalgic today and revisited isles and glaciers 😪 wish they did some more music because this was badass. Its 2018 and i still think this shit is great.
I kind of think Vic is the best of the 3. I listen to all these vocalist and think all 3 are sick as hell. But Vic has such a piercing tone and his range is crazy compared to his actual voice. Also Vic is the only one who's just gotten better of the 3 over the years lol
+scrotor189 oh yeah man, he actually mostly plays rhythm but in PTV he'll pick over the picking parts over some strumming octave parts that Tony will end up with and that's crazy to me.. He's no Thomas Erak but man Vic is just as talented on a whole nother' path imo
***** I was big into ptv about 3 or 4 years ago and I'm more of a classic rock guy but Vics playing I've always loved cause he mixes alot of classic riffs and styles into his playing. He's one of those dudes than could probably play with just about any band
i don't think one video can portray the whole experience of being there and witnessing the whole set. the energy coming off the crowd and the band was just amazing. i hope that isles & glaciers will be able to play more shows because i don't think anyone should miss a performance like this.
the formation of this band was probably one of the greatest ideas anyone ever had. but if it's this hard just to get the EP out, I don't think they're ever gonna be able to tour.. unless all the bands go on the same tour at once.. which would be epic enough, I don't think the world's ready for that
Its funny how the comments here are all bashing on Vic, yet hes the only one of these singers who still has a respectable status on the scene. Jonny and Craig both went down in flames.
I think I just died and went to heaven.. Vic, johhny, and Craig are just so amaZing and Vic doing doubl work gosh he's jiZztastic!!! I love these guys it's like an allstar band!!!
I'm mad this is the only time I've seen them perform live and I wasn't even there! :( they crank hard if I had vocals like all of them I'd be on a label by now
AND "EMAROSA" IS NOT CONCLUSIVE OF JONNY CRAIG'S ACHIEVEMENTS. WHAT ABOUT DANCE GAVIN DANCE, WESTERHALTS, AND HIS SOLO ALBUMS? OHKAY MAYBE HIS SOLO ALBUM WASN'T OUT YET.
I love both the Craigs :) although i do think jonny C. has a nicer friendlier to the ear voice and can make any man question his sexuality in the first 60 seconds of any song i just absolutely love craig owens. the emotion he puts into his songs with the tone, volume, screaming and color of his voice especially in the first chiodos album is amazing. and now they're both in one band! F--ing Sick :)
God, what a fucking super group! I wish Jonny wasn't such a mess, they could POSSIBLY have a reunion and even write new music - he is so talented, what a waste!
i hate that i found this video!!!! haha. i was so close to seeing this!! but emo's had a 300 max capacity! so i was unable to get in! such a great band though!
Mad respect for vic singing and playing. People dont realize how hard it is to sing and play at the same time.
@@TheFrenchmanCooks yeah don't do power chords. Anyone can do that
Kinda like a polyrhythm
I agree
Do you guys think if we spam them enough they'll have a reunion and tour for real?
Rom
Yes
💯💯
Nope
I fucking wish
@@celinatapia8666 I fucking wish too
I love how everyone tries to joke around with Vic while he's singing and he's just like "yeah no, go away."
Wish this was recorded with better audio. Everyone there in person is so lucky.
this is the most amazing thing in the world. vic, craig, and johnny in the same band = instant eargasm
Vic is the only one on spot with his clean vocals. Craig's screams tho... damn.
+WIZA327 Have you heard Jonny?
Vic was the only sober person probably too 😂 dunno if that's true but its just a hypothesis
WittenmyerMusic when it comes to craig owens and jonny craig in 2009 that’s a pretty damn safe hypothesis
@@caliglid what I've wanted to know is did Craig actually make D.R.U.G.S. because of his drug abuse or what actually started that name 🤔

"You play in the Cheetos band" XD I love Vic
It's pretty much all the best singers in hardcore music together, such an eargasm

'23, both Jonny and Craig are joking about touring on this ep again and I will remain hopeful despite
You just don't know. You just don't know.@@k1xnt
@@rnbsteenstar no I don't. do you know?
@@k1xnt nope, sometimes those things usually occur just when we least expect them.
And here we are 2024 still hoping 🥲
Here in 2019 still will be 2020
They should do this 2020 on some perform one song or 2 random whenever they are under the same venue
hope covid was fun

Plus he plays lead guitar lol I'm not a huge fan of core music anymore but I still listen to isles and glaciers a bit

Someone hasn't heard Slaves.. Craig is the monster here. Way better.
@@DodgeW there's two Craigs...
These dudes really did this show in sandals
i remember when shorts and sandals were a thing in the emo/post-hardcore scene and it made me so uncomfortable. men should never wear sandals, period.

All that matters is that they're comfortable.
This show was amazing. I'm sooo glad I was there; I got to meet them all after! :]
this collab is the best idea anyone ever had. together, they are perfection

Craig can scream better than most full on hardcore vocalist lol
Shunsui 345 Lol your profile picture.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO awkward when you realize Vic is the oldest out of all of them....
Wow even now I wish I could've been there to see this live!
Jonny is perfect live. Every fucking time.
Its funny how the comments here are all bashing on Vic, yet hes the only one of these singers who still has a respectable status on the scene. Jonny and Craig both went down in flames.
what happened?
2:29 lol Vic keeps on taking Craig's part that's why he was laughing haha.
The best musical collaboration ever
this is so legendary. 😓😥
Crazy collaboration
This is the best band ever. Love the fact that they built this super group...
I'm in love
I love how mike is playing emarosa's drum kit. LOVE this band. Cant wait for the album.
damn, we NEED more songs :(
all their voices make it sound amazing(:
i love vics voice
I like how every time the chorus hits, Craig looks over at Vic like, "FUCK YEAH, SING IT"
i love it how craig always laugh when vic sings the chorus
this is what my brain looks like in pre cal
ahhh! I have. i can't even handle the awesomeness of this. isles and glaciers seriously completes my life.
That note Vic hits around 0:34 when he's just like "Ohhh." Is like "omggg."
this is like my favoriteee song
You're so near to Vic T.T
Vics hair flip tho in the beginning c:
They're all so perfect ♥
I FUCKING LOVE JONNY CRAIG... I can't get enough of him and his beautiful vocals:)

2019 anyone?
Yep
isles and glaciers=superband!
Well in the beginning of the video, Craig actually says, "This song is called, 'Clush'"
Vic O.O I Love Him. Awesome Song.

i would give my left arm to see them live
Lets remind these guys of this band
3 legends side by side.
ony two words to describe this..FUCK and YES. they need to keep this.

thanks. i'm flattered at the fact that someone thinks my video is better than the one alt press put up.
my god their amazing.
this was NOT taken with a phone. if there's a reason to the distorted sound it's probably because I was right next to speakers/monitors.
Isles & Glaciers for Warped Tour 2011!!
@masterdra329333
I agree. Also, while all 3 singers have a high range, Vic seems the most comfortable with highest notes.
Need is an understatement.
i was actually thinking about a super group with jonny and craig being in it about 2 weeks before my cousin told me about this group, i freaked out
Mikey smashing Lukas' drum set.
he was with them
best combo EVER.

I wish I was there D:
they need to do a tour ASAP
Nobody will truly know until Isles & Glaciers makes news of it, but as for now, it's widely known as "Clush"
Aww Mike xD
Oh shit the idea of Thomas Erak performing with Vic is magical
@shelbyysupersonicc it's a natural responce. we all are.
i couldn't handle all that on stage. i can't even handle this on my computer.
they said hopefully it'll be out in the summer.
@yupilikemusic Jesus does have a favorite band and it is isles and glaciers
Jonny tore it up dude...
For fans of Isles and Glaciers, please lend your ears to our single - we promise you won't regret it ;)
They should do a couple songs at Warped Tour...i mean almost all of this group will be there so it only makes sense!! RIGHT!!??
Album out March 9th :D
such a cool tune
Craig Owens. Barefoot. Live. HELL YES.
