As a Kendrick fan this isn’t true. He messed up a lot of the words in Euphoria and in Not Like Us. The only thing that was intentional was the “give me 2 pac ring back” line. He got caught up and I’m sure adrenaline was rushing because a few lines he said too early. But that’s ok. It’s not a big deal because he still killed the performance. It was his first time performing these songs that he released two months ago. It’s all good.
You can see on his face that he messed up. The impressive part was staying poised and recovering

the dude was just excited to perform and tripped up 😭 I get it. euphoria is over 6 minutes straight of serious rapping with no chorus. plus! these are his very first live performances of these songs!! obv we don’t know how many times he plans on performing them (if he ever does) but it makes sense that the first time it wouldn’t go as smooth.
the third verse of not like us has a lot of names in a specific order, which is pretty hard to get if you’re running on adrenaline and these are your last songs of the set. but I do think him nailing the first and second verse kinda hammers home that the ‘they not like us’ includes predators and sex offenders in the ‘they’, not JUST ppl who aren’t Black Americans.
Saw someone point out the way Kendrick came out and started singing euphoria kneeling just like xxxtentacion in Cypher.. and with the connections ppl say drake has to his death… 🤯🤯 I cannot unsee it now!
