It's more difficult than ever-but one hell of a ride! Perhaps less media coverage, community service stuff, less distractions during the season. Any time-off goes to their families & mental health. "Anything can happen" is always a double-edged sword Yet, the vitriole is nuts- this is not your accomplishment, not your credit-you haven't won or lost anything - not gotten any bruises, nor any goals you've done nothing to earn or lose anything. So haters feel free to go eat your fruit loops, and leave these elite athletes alone. None would dare say any of these statements directly to their faces- cowards who don't lace up skates. It might have helped if fans didn't leave TD garden 30 minutes before the end of game 5? Five weekends in a row of back-to-back games? One at home and one away for five weekends in a row before playoffs? It's going to be interesting when NHL players are no longer under contract-Jonathan toews is already suffering at the hands of a mysterious illness, serious fatigue, autoimmune issues, enlarged hearts... along with many healthy people who've had problems because of these chemicals shot into their bodies. Tyler bertuzzi is the only one who's had that consistent opportunistic energy...
