I live in Washington now, but I'm from Sarasota and have worked events and ridden on the freedom factory years before Garret made it better. I'm absolutely considering flying back to watch rhe Race. And maybe I could meet you guys. Seems odd that I would have to go from seattle back to Florida to high-five rad dude from Idaho 😅

Helicopter tree trimming is big for maintaining clearance for power line right of ways. Basically cutting trees where power lines go through the forest. They also use it for railroad tree clearance and a number of other things. As well as being good for inaccessible areas, the helo can trim as much in a day as ground crews could do in a few weeks or more - it sounds super sketchy but those guys are extremely skilled pilots and very good at what they do. It’s amazing to watch!
Those trimmers are a terrifying idea, ten giant circular saw blades mounted on a rail, swinging around under a chopper, subject to every breeze. We need a blooper reel of this.
It's important to be able to look at where you are and be happy and proud of it while also wanting to continue to grow!

In Ohio, it costs 22-25 grand to get a private rotary pilot license! 40 flight hours total. You could have them as quick as you can knock out the flight time and pass the testing. The chainsaw choppers have huge contracts with the giant power companies. So essentially, you would be clearing along power lines which makes it so much more dangerous.

There are some online training classes that can be taken to learn how to program the Haltech ECU's. Listening to what Will has done in the past he should be able to pick it up quick.

Heli-trimming takes place here around lake Wenatchee and Stevens pass around the remote power lines. Yeah, legit james bond trimming.
I ran into an old guy who built a big 6x6 f350 using 2 regular diffs instead of a pass through diff. He put transfer cases on on their sides in front of the rear diffs. He said he had too have custom gears made. Front T-case was ran backwards. The input was what would normally be the rear drive shaft. Output was what would normally be the input and front drive shaft. What would normally be the front drive shaft off the front T-case went over the first diff and powered the rear T-case.
Kind of expensive and complex but it was holding up on the street with a built turbo diesel.

Hey guys you're talking about making drive units those big pulling tractors with the multiple engines this companies that make stuff like that and those tractors have a lot of horsepower and a lot of wheel speed and those helicopters they use them for trimming around power lines I have seen them

Its funny I watch skate boarding lol and I watch 2 guys mow lawns for free 😅😅😂 you would be amazed how much lawn mowing can draw u in but I watch it for hours. So do a channel on what u love and do all the time 😊
As far as pass through differentials. Does anyone make one that has opposing pinions? The front pinion/ring gear would have to be strong enough to power both diffs.

Pre flights and inspections by someone certified every so often to re-cretify that it's air-worthy. This helicopter has already been up to date on its legally required inspections and maintenance, as far as I understand.
You can also register it as experimental instead and go around a few of those things, but it's WAY more complex than I understand or could explain in YT comments if I did. I have a minimal understanding and once wished to be an AMP but decided I didn't want to chase the work.

Just a heads-up my boy's, you should watch all the other channels that race in race and get insider info, two watch Cleatus's channels on the races. From what I have watched it's a crap shoot if you get a good car or not, obstacle one, they have more than one professional race car drivers, they use nitro on the cars, the nitro doesn't last the whole race so you have to use it statically or run out, tires are an issue as well I pretty sure they don't pit for tires and if you do your pretty much out of the race so...... do your homework and you guys will place well, won't win but maybe
You want to watch helicopters in mountain rescue or guys who fix giant powerlines flying next to them, its true what he says about the giant cutters too, like super long chainsaws suspended underneath.

you dont need to drive backwards, just lean over from the inside :D have to do it all the time being from the UK and driving across europe. it gets pretty tedious on the toll roads in France etc

If you buy a JDM Subaru, it's from the southern hemisphere, so it cancels out your current LHD Subaru, meaning you can actually buy a 3rd Subaru, and still maintain the 1 Subaru at a time deal..
