We need to see your dads on here, that would be amazing
Is this on Spotify? Struggle to watch podcasts but love your content!
Dude, Junkyard wars was by far my favorite show growing up next to mythbusters, I had a pile of junk toys, electronics, and Legos and stuff, me and my cousin would always do challenges and build stuff, I learned so much that way. The craziest episode is when they built airplanes in 3 days and they actually flew.
@messin with mike Yeah I think I watched all them probably more then once, also the British version scrapheap challenge.
Also a cool show was "The Big Brain Theory" it was only 1 season but it was similar with 2 teams and they each had to build a device for whatever the challenge was.
@@ExperimentalFun Scrapheap Challenge was the better one to watch
My favorite was the Power Puller episode! It was so metal
The Best Thing about this channel is the two of you. We have Edwin...master artist with a camera and editing.
Ethan...master fabricator, visionist, and extreme artist.
Of All the other channels out there that put together builds...Grind Hard Plumbing is the cream of the crop.
Thanks for posting guys!
Funny thing you mentioned 6x6, I’m actually posting my first video of a 6x6 build series this Friday👍
Of course it’s going to be on the other spectrum of GHPC high HP/ super fast, it’s lower HP/ crawling off-road 😂
Take care guy 👍
@One Man's Trash Aus Right on! I think it’s going to be a fun series 👍
@Mike Festiva, you should collab with these guys!
I also can't wait! Love your work!
Whaaaaqat i need to see this
You guys never get old! My son and I are always looking forward to the next new video and watch all your videos and builds over and over! Thanks for doing what you guys do you guys are an inspiration and role model for people all over the country!
Love the new podcasting gear Edwin! Production value lookin 👌
The wind in the background got me going like wtf is that sound
Air compressor
Congratulations you just made the world better!
Thank you guys again for making awesome content with no swear words, my son and I really enjoy watching your channel!! Much love and appreciation guys!
Great podcast guys👌 I'm glad you do these I enjoy them
Nicely done guys. It's a real pleasure to sit in on your conversation!
Totally feel you. What you make is is Art. Please keep doing what you guys are doing. The your fabrication and cinematography bring it all together. Also, you have a rat rod scene in North Idaho? Amazing. Much love from Bangkok, Thailand.
I think the Jag body on the C10 frame is a project that NEEDS TO HAPPEN
At first I didn’t think I would like the podcast Because I normally don’t but I’ve watched them all so far and like them a lot good job guys👍👍
Heavy weight is an important part of a tractor for traction and pulling power so you guys are on track! Can't wait to see the finished product!
I love how you mention that it’s not just machining and fabricating but it’s an art form as well, I couldn’t agree more
Yes! Junkyard wars was awesome! The first one from Europe tho. Not the newer copies haha
Im loving the triumph
Love your podcasts and your builds. Stumbled upon you guys when a couple years ago my son's Boy Scout troop started having an annual "Barbie jeep race" (un-powered gravity race in a sloped parking lot) Been watching pretty religiously ever since. Just wanted to throw out the idea of a Manx Dune buggy build. I've been a member of the Manx Dune Buggy Club for about 25 years, and would love to see what you guys would come up with. Maybe even come to one of our club events sometime. We regularly get 150-200+ buggies at our club runs(pre COVID).
@41:00 YES! Exactly what I was thinking. Something like a lifted rally prerunner Porsche thing would be awesome!
We had a programme exactly like that growing up as a kid in the UK! It was called Scrapheap Challenge held in a scrap yard, it was a free for all of parts two teams build the most craziest stuff. They don't make tv like they used to in the 90s anymore.. 😞 edit: Mythbusters was cool as well bit cringe but was funny.
mythbusters was my favorite childhood show, and probably still my favorite show ever
Sound quality is superb!! Love all the crazy fun ideas and the new show!!
On the "I'd love to build a rock crawler" topic, I feel like a rock crawler golf cart is right up your alley. Get some jeep axles (dana 30/35 are dirt cheap because no one wants them lol) and power it with a quad engine kinda like what motomule did. Long travel and maybe 1/4 elliptical suspension for space saving. Slap a golf cart body on it and some 35s and take it to the mountains.
LOVE THIS! you guys rock!
This engine is easily capable of 1000hp. Looking forward to the build.
Yes!!!🤣 So I am watching this video and the whole time I'm thinking you should've been on junkyard wars! Not even sure if you're old enough to remember it or be on there! Then halfway through you mentioned junkyard wars!🤣🤣🤣
Always excited to see the next build
Hey Ethan, Just thought I'd say that to get better gearing for the hurricane, instead of the prop shaft going right off the engine output, add in a jack shaft with a chain drive with gear reduction. Then you could get more crawl-ability out of it.
The 2jz mower should be called the grass guzzler! Just a thought , love your channel. Oggs from north Wales.
I love you guys so much you have inspired me to send it and build cool shit since before y'all did the power wheels
Hey guys!! Thanks for the awesome content
Taken it to Cleetus'n'Cars next year Would Be INSANELY AWESOME.
Loving these, y'all keep conversation going very well. Also, I kept thinking the birds in the video were birds outside my house.
Man I can’t wait to see the first slow mo of the 2J mower launching
This is by far the best 2J application I have seen (and the most practical) :). It would be cool if you can beat the Honda Mean Mower v2 0-60 record!
loving the new audio setup. these new mics & an outdoor type setting would be really neat as well.
I just listened to this twice in a row cause I'm pulling the engine on my truck and when it ended, it stated replaying and I couldn't be bothered to stop it. Still good the second time through. 👌👌
I didn't have tv as a kid either. Junkyard wars had a great premise, as all network tv tho, in execution it left a lot to be desired.
I love the TJ!! More!!
Powermower 😀 Keep up the good work guys.
Favorite Mythbuster episode...when they blew up the cement mixer. The Sound that it made was INSANE.
Name it “The Complexcity” (since it was a Simplicity tractor).
The podcast are great guys, good to get that extra insight into your processes. re the tv shows, have you ever seen the uk original that junkyard wars was based on? It called scrapheap challenge, hosted by Robert Llewellyn (Kryten from Red Dwarf). Theres just the right amount of drama, enough to make it entertaining, but not over the top, and full of amazing engineering minds creating awesome ingenious contraptions.
XXL Porsche + turbo goldwing motor = 👌
It has all the potential to be a competitive tractor puller if you guys haven't thought of that already.
OMG I used to watch junkyard wars too!!!
I am not big on pod cast but since it is you guys I will give it a try .
to get the real tractor vibe off of it you should make it a dry sump and have the oil container mounted on the side of the engine like an oldschool breather box :)
It would be epic if you made it like a half-track mower! Take some tracks for the rear, and of course wheels in the front.
Maybe a 4x4 transfer case could help with gearing and a drive source for the cutting deck ... hi range for fun and low range for slightly slower grass terrorising lol
Fitting jag rear axles in hot rods was popular here in the uk in the 80s check out outlaw Ford pops.
JZ in the background 🔥⚡️ love to see what you guys do with it
Love it!! 🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸🇨🇦
Hell yeah a rally porsche would be awesome.
2 things to improve: one, the mic volume is pretty low so it would be good to raise the mic volume, and two, there is a weird hissing noise in the background. Great podcast love It!
@8 minutes. In old Town on 4th of July they have a bring it and drag it comp between dollar tree and the bowling alley
you should do a version of junk yard wars with a time crunch I would watch that big time .
If you guys actually did the raptor 6x6 power wheels build, it would be perfect for another overland trip because you could haul stuff way better and the bes would be more cargo space most likely. Lovin the podcast, keep up the good stuff, yeeeew
Any plans on doing anything crazy with a boat or Jetski?
Loving the podcast
Mini trophy truck build!!!
6x6 power wheels that's just a torque monster that could haul the other power wheels would be sick
I would absolutely LOVE to see some kind of rotary build
U could get all the boys , cars and cameras, moto mule, vasile builds, and others for ur test drive idea
I personally would love to see a super built triumph yano. That thing would be amazing.
The air compressor in the background 😂
Am I the only one who thought they were brothers?
Nope I thought it for a long time.
But found out real quick.
They grew up in a small town... They don’t think they’re brothers but their mothers know the truth.
You should model it like "Hot Ones" Ask people deep questions when they are under stress....
Its not how fast you mow its how well you mow fast
Did y'all ever think about making it a lawn mower tractor pull machine, it's pretty popular where I'm from
A 6x6 would be amazing
Man take the mower to summer Nats that would be awesome
Awesome
Only pod cast I've ever liked lol
One of these days guys, when I'm not too busy in a "lock down" for Covid stuff, I'm going to count the number of times you each use the word "like" out of context. Haha!!! But I DO LIKE your GHPC 2 Sent and Bent format. It's great to know a bit more what makes Grease-monkeys and Petrol-heads tick. :-)
I'm putting a streetbike motor on a 60s wheel horse on my channel doing it rat rod style also
What are the cons of driving the colonel in 4wd and did you ever compare the lap times of it between 2wd and 4wd?
High horsepower, ultra light construction type of build.
you need to pour a pad for power wheels burn outs
Definitely make people on the cast do a lap time.
You'd love the Mad Max Cars at Wasteland Weekend..
Fuck yeah I wanna see you guys do something with Cleetus!💯💯💯
When do you guys think you will be able to start up the engine?
Out of curiosity, when you guys mentioned sam not allowed to roll senders, and potentially total vehicles, do you have any sort of vehicle insurance on your builds?
Love these but the volume is pretty low witch means when an ad comes up it blasts through the speakers.
Get the porche and make it a drag power wheels
Use an LSD differential, its really good
The "Is That A.." Build.
Next project.. A catapult Trailer for the Colonel..
Why you guys not making plans to sled pull with ith
2JZ good 👍
Oh yeah!
Don't forget monster garage with Jessie James.
My locale drag strip u can race snowmobile but I have to have full leathers
I'm curious on how the front end of the tractor is going to handle the power. also at higher speed i don't see it turning very well or at all
Side note when you mentioned Junkyard wars my eyes lit up, i miss that show so much
Cool
Speaking of large power wheels they have a Tank..
singe me up for your junk yard challenge would love to Collab with you guys
I'm not gonna watch this but I'll presume it was good. ✌
Are you going to do EFI or carbs?
