- Lucy Iburu is almost 60 years old but she has found love! In two weeks time, she will walk down the aisle and get married to the love of her life. She met him almost a year ago and can't wait to live with him. Lucy laughs and says, ' Indeed, no one is too old to find love!.'
Monica, I have been single for 18 years from my divorce but i don't have anyone in my life. I have lived that life on purpose because of my calling for ministry. Women can live a clean life if they have a purpose in God kingdom. Am waiting for the right one with same interests in the Kingdom services. I have dated so many after realizing we are not on the same interests on serving God I let then go. I still believe mine is coming, am 60 years old, godly women can live Holy without having to take any man including married men. For me even is he's single and not the right one, am out. Her story is soo educating. However, I wish to correct her. Not every woman requires kujishikilia kwa mwanaume. It is very possible to stay upright even when you are not a religious person. Self preservation is a choice, a state of mind until the status change at the right time and in the right way. I am a single mom of an 18yr old daughter and I am content with singlehood.
Agreed. It is something some humans feel they need, but not all of them. I have also been a single mom since my daughter was 5, she's now 24, and honestly I have never ever considered remarrying, not because of anything it is just that I honestly enjoy being single - I feel like marriage would make me give up so much and I have never been prepared to do that. I thought I would change my mind once my child flew the nest, but I have not. All the best to this wonderful lady, I am genuinely pleased that this is possible for her, it gives a lot of people hope that they can find love at any age.
