Domestic violence/abuse is a no, can never be justified. I think this is what needs to be addressed first. I hope to see the day when women will stop making excuses for their men abusing them.
Empower the girl child. Work on her self esteem. Teach her abuse of any kind in marriage is not only a no go, but a deal breaker. Bullies know who can be hit and who cannot !!!!
