We read this in Highschool, as part of the English prose syllabus-- and to listen to it now after more than 40 years later, it stirs so many memories from those days. I always tried to imagine how Foyots, the restaurant environment looked... A funny story and with a sweet revenge at the end! Very nicely read!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I have been a great fan and protector of women's liberation, or feminism, since I Saw a march on the street back '71 of Thiry of so pretty young women, who were very clearly raised on whole milk , shouting " burn your bra!". If a lady nowadays asks, me out for a luncheon, I always insist that she pays the bill, I wouldn't dare to offend her!!, long live feminism,I say👍 Anyway,,I don't eat much for luncheon 😂
"I only eat one thing at lunch." 😅

Hungry women like this still exist today, and men are still paying the bill.
