McKinnie and Roca need to stand up and be counted now... Adams is a blow, but I'd be a lot more worried if Wober was out for the rest of the season.

Let's hope struijk has recovered from his shell shock under Jessie and been focusing his training as a centre back. Coops isn't really good enough to fill that gap anymore.
Would love to see McKennie especially stand up and play the deeper of the two midfielders. He has the mentality. Better on the ball than Adams. He could be better defensively minded, but he has to step up.
@Weak eye dominant I agree, Coops isn't the guy to take us forward. Be a good player to keep around for moral and if we do end up going down.
@Dustin Kamerman I think McKinnie has a lot to offer, I do think he'll show it in the coming weeks, but time will tell. Might see Gyabi getting some minutes
With Western and Marc i think we’re ok, wouldn’t mind Darko coming in too. Max is the bigger concern for me.

Conor, I was listening to one of the USA Team CZcams channels last night after the match. He has a lot of ITK sources and they were talking about the next international meetup in the summer and he said “I hope Tyler is back by then”, which I found odd since before this video, everyone was under the impression it was a minor knock and he’d be back in the next week or so. Makes sense now.
Tyler was relatively poor his last matches for us, I wonder if in part that was due to him trying to play though the injury
We'll miss him big time leader in the middle and if wober is out i'd argue we've lost the biggest 2 influences on the pitch.
Won against wolves without Adam's. Need that bloody goalkeeper Meslier to be a bloody goalkeeper and stop letting in soft bloody goals.

More than anything we will miss Tyler’s leadership skills and if Max Wober is also out for a while then the combined effect could be catastrophic. We really need Roca and MacKennie to stand up and be counted. Foresaw is regrettably a busted flush due to his injuries. I had hoped we might get a draw against Arsenal but I’m not so confident now. After an encouraging few games I’m now worried we look really thin on the ground in key areas at a crucial stage of the season.
He can still make his presence felt without being on the pitch. we're not used to having squad depth, or even a manager with a plan B (including Bielsa, much as I loved the man) but we have a manager with a plan B now, and although you're right that our squad aint that deep, I'm fairly positive. Fuck though!

The only thing we can hope is that Javi clearly has a lot of different ways to play. formations and shapes and will find a solution whether it's just roca sat in front of the back 4 with Mckennie next to him or Mckennie further forward, This injury under Marsch would have screwed us but sensible managers have a lot of other options to play. Not ideal I'd have tyler 1st or 2nd on the teamsheet especially in our predicament but Javi will work it out im sure. Our issue is any other injuries. Wober is essential to staying in the league not just for what he offers as 1 man but what he does for the whole back 4

Javi will have managed similar problems in the past. I believe he’ll come up with a plan… maybe move Wober into middle as we have CB cover. Not ideal, but we have to be adaptable & improvise… it’s a squad game for just such situations. Come on Javi get their heads up… it’s time to prove ourselves…

What’s the latest on Weber? Unfortunate timing that we’ve been struck with key players since Jan. Yates, Taiywo our no 9. And we have been plugging holes with players who just aren’t up to it. I’m sure roca and Mckenne can hold the fort.

Well Gracia has a few options, he either works with Roca and Mckennie and gets them up to speed quickly as a 2 man central midfield, reverts more to a 4-3-3 and brings Gyabi or Gray etc into the fold, or he has to get creative, pull something out of the bag, can he move Wober forward into that role? Or struijk as we've seen him at times, or Koch? Will he move Harrison back into a midfield 3 given the attackers we have returning? Can he utilise Ayling in the midfield supplementing right back with Rasmus?
I agree that this is worrying news about TA but I honestly do think the squad this season can cope better than last season. If the injuries mentioned are correct I’d go as follows against Arsenal…
Meslier
Ayling - Koch - Struijk - Firpo
Summerville - Roca - McKennie - Harrison
Aaronson Bamford
And then depending how good or bad it’s going we look to replace Bamford for Rodrigo, Aaronson for Rutter and Sinisterra for either Harrison or Summerville.
Just reading this back I’m less worried/concerned than I was last season when we had bloody Jenkins + McKinstry on the bench 😂

Adam’s coming out obviously a big blow but we’ve got a few midfield options and this would’ve been a much bigger blow under marsch than under Gracia. I do think that Gyabi will be able to play a role for us in this last part of the season. Much more concerned if Wöber is out long term.

@@Agtsmirnoff no obviously McKennie and Roca are the first choices. But Gyabi has been too good for the under 21s and while he’s obviously not ready to be starting week in week out he can play a bit part role for us and hopefully step up.
Look at the French keeper last night v Ireland a couple of unbelieveable saves in the last 5 minutes Illian will have a job getting into that team
Think we will still be ok in the home games but Javi will need to come up with a new formation for the away games. He is going to have to find a formation where he feels he can trust Gyabi or play a defender in a midfield role. Can Dallas come back and save the day? Injuries are always the MOST important factor when it comes to league positions. Arsenal are top because they have kept healthy. Leicester are struggling because they have had a terrible run of injuries.

I’m more worried about Wober - if I had to pick one to be fit. On Adam’s agree on missing his engine - for sure. As u say PL has to be a squad game. The other guys in the fisrt team have to deliver.
If anyone wants to go, get as much money for them and replenish squad with a couple of players. It's part of football in and out transfers and how we grow as a club

If Wober and Willy are out for longer than Arsenal game we are in massive trouble. Adams is a terrible blow but MW and WG have been immense. All back on the board again.

Adversity is a constant at Leeds. Hopefully it will unite and galvanize the squad.
There's the rub. When Rodrigo is finally scoring, he gets injured. Bamford always injured. In trouble again & we lose 2 key players. But the truth is that we should have the squad to handle this 3rd season back up, but 50% of our major signings have been flops for the price. Just praying at this point.
Sinisterra and Summerville have to step up to the plate to cover Gnontos absence. Cooper and Struijk can cover Wober, but replacing Adams is the big problem for us. Ironically Wober could have played in there, but that would detract greatly from his influence at the back. Struijk has played in there previously , but I think he’ll go with the same 3 in the middle as he did against Wolves.
It's a huge blow , Tyler for me has been our player of the season. BUT I will say since gracia has come in Adams has probably had his worst run of games. I think mckennie and Roca are more than good enough and tbf Gyabi needs more minutes and is said to be frustrated with thr lack of game time he's got. If it was wober out I'd probs think were going down 😂 he's made such a huge difference in that back 4. Hopefully Sinisterra is up to speed and he can come straight in we've seen nowhere near what sinI can do for us yet
Lower ranked teams in the Premier division will never have squads as big as the monster teams. Many clubs in the Premier division will have players injured from the international break. We probably need to have a two-week break after international breaks for the players to recover, but of course that is wishful thinking.
I was actually getting hopeful that we might stay up. Now with Wöber, Adams and Gnonto out , I don't really see how we stay up😢.

Meslier will be hard to replace, we haven't had a good GK for a long time, but he is young and he needs to move on especially playing for a team in our current situation. He probably go whether we remain in the premiership or not, so getting at least £70m is a good sum from any team in the premiership and Europe. I just hope he doesn't goto a premiership team
As for Adams, another step back when things were looking hopeful. But under Gracia he should be able to work with the players and solve the situation better than Marsch
Until orta is gone the managers will be operating with an unbalanced squad not to mention many over valued players who are questionable as premiership quality
How about Koch moving back to CDM?
He's the closest there is to Adams in terms of profile and was solid as a CDM under Bielsa when he was fully fit.
The only silver lining with these injuries is that if Gracia can keep Leeds up then you should feel confident that he’s the man for the job next year
We were missing adams the last game and i feel like that was our best performance just when we needed it. Hes a good player at breaking up the other team but his passing needs work and he slows our attacks down. We looked lethal when we broke against wolves and i dont think its a coincedence that its because he was out of the team. The lad is still a cracking player, but the way he has been played needs a few tweeks for me.
Maybe we just played good because it’s wolves and we always beat them

@@coner4675 kalvin phillips has slow movement but passing the ball and moving it around he is far superior to adams. Phillips gets the ball where he wants it to go 9/10, adams is probably 5 or 6/10. No disrespect to adams because hes one of leeds' best players, but would he get in the england team if he was eligible because i dont think so.
@@Agtsmirnoff erm dont think football works like that mate. People saying we lost the midfield battle. So what. We won the defensive battle and attacking battle, and they are the two that matter. If it means we win, then we can lose the midfield battle everyweek for all i care. The first time we have been clinical with our shots on goal and what a difference it makes. Think people need to remember its not a science project or a game of fifa. The aim is to stop goals going in one end, and put the ball in the net at the other end.
@@dannytyler8771 you made my point exactly. In most games if you lose the midfield you’ve likely lost the match or at least aren’t winning it. Wolves was an aberration, and you’re basing your confidence on data set with a sample size of 1.
Gutting thar Tyler is out for the season, but out of our current injured trio I am more concerned about Wöber as without him our defence will probably turn back into the Benny Hill show. At least going forward we have some good options and Sinisaustra being back.

Tyler Adams is purely a defensive player who tackles opponents in front of the back four. It should be easier to find a replacement for him then a replacement for a goalscorer. How many professional footballers do Leeds have on the books who have spent the last 10 years as a full-time job trying to perfect their football skills?
I have noticed because melier is so tall he seams to lose any recoil in his legs and is unable to jump very high without a massive bend in his legs , ok he don't need to jump high as he is so tall but his overall reach on crosses isn't any higher and sometimes less than some much smaller keepers
Meslier is the one who has cost leeds with hes his bad goal keeping. He should have been outed a while back.
Think Mckinnie looked better without Adams but i would certainly like to see Gyabi in. Maybe some good will come out of some bad.

Always has been 2 players back 3 out. Orta always likes a player with an injury record. Wober and gnonto biggest misses. Wober is the leader/organisation at the back which only cooper has out of all cb but his ability is championship. Adams is a big miss but I have confidence in mckenni and roca but now we are on thin ice if one of them gets suspended or injured cos we got nowt else

Mckennie will slot in along with Roca ......and then Gyabi and Greenwood provide the backup. Thats how it is, so that's what we roll with.

@@oneleedsfanchannel1919 Man United have spent hundreds of millions on players. Their main midfielders are Casemiro, Eriksen and Fred. Beyond that they have dross like mctominay, therefore there is a huge drop off. And thats with a team that spends a fortune and sits 3rd in the league.
We have Tyler Adams, Marc Roca and Weston Mckennie as our 3 main men, beyond that we have options that are inferior. This is the way with all football clubs....
Arsenal included who are top of the league, they have Xhaka, Partey and Jorginho as their main 3. Then they have Elneny and the young kid Vieira.

Adams is a specialist at what he does, to have a back up for him wouldn't be cheap. And would that back up option be happy to stay on the bench all season, waiting for him to get injured? 🤔 I doubt it 🤷♂️

Funny, Adams is out. Rock is average, and McKennie is an 8. Aaronson is an 8. What is that Polish kids' name? It's funny as he is holding a ball playing midfielder.
Mesiler is a good Keeper, but that Italian we let go in the summer was a better talent. Talent wise, we have a 21 in our squad that has equally as much but lacks game time.
Cant stand international football. Wish we would sign second string players from top countries rather than taking the top players from second string countries so that we arent ruined by international breaks.
Adam forshaw is another championship player but unfortunately we will need him if the news is true
