Thank you Mark. Another beautiful walk. I loved people watching, all the kids and dogs. I want to go to the chocolate booth. So many stores, so little time.
Are you going to capture Kerkenhof someday. I probably spelled it wrong. I used it for a long time for my computer background and never thought I'd actually get to see it, then Misty tells me a few days ago that the place I loved so much was in the same country as Giethoorn. Yay and yippee.

Nee, nooit geweest. Wel langs het Comomeer gereden op weg naar Venetië. Dat was toen daags nadat een noodweer met hagelstenen zo groot ala mandarijnen daar over getrokken was. We zagen toen veel aan gort geslagen caravans, autos waar geen ruit meer heel was en het koetswerk dat leek op de buitenkant van een golfbal. Ook de natuur en de daken van huizen hadden flink geleden.
Mooie kerk in Como. En leuke projecties op de gebouwe,.
Venetië heeft zijn charme maar is ‘s zomers veel te heet. Je wordt letterlijk gebakken op zonrijke plekken waar de stenen erg heet zijn geworden. Het water in de kanalen gaat ook stinken.
Neem daar de waterbus vanaf centraal station naar het San Marcoplein en loop dan terug door de stad als je maar beperkt tijd hebt. Blijf je daar langer dan zijn er vele mogelijkheden om Venetië en omringende eilanden te bezoeken.
