I'm 55 and I learned to drive in a 47 international pick up truck, was the only one in my high school parking lot.😁 yep, double clutch is a must in the old cars, a little rev on the way in helps too. Funny I drive a stick now and I still hit the gas before going into the next gear, don't double clutch anymore 😃..awesome survivor, beautiful car..
For those armchair experts complaining about the revving and his driving: he's adjusting the idle air and fuel mixture. As for his shifting? Did you hear him put it in first gear in the garage? It needs a clutch.
I can imagine a upper middle class man the 1920s sitting in the right of the front row with his chauffeur, who is driving the car. The backseat his wife, who has his 3 year old daughter on here lap in the middle to the right next to the window seat his 8 year old son and to the left of the window seat his mistress. I saw this in a video but with a similar car but with a different name.
Man the young guy needs to learn how to drive an old car , poor gearbox !! Does he not know how to give a little rev to match the gearbox speed and double the clutch . You don’t just drag it into the gear you want you stuff the box real fast.
Watch the videos of him driving the Packards, especially the big blue phaeton, this kid has mad skills with old cars - I suspect this relic simply doesn't have much clutch left.
This video deserves more views, a very well done and nicely detailed look at such a beautiful relic.

Good ole Franklin! Impeccably driven, as always! Cheers!
I own a 1960 VW deluxe and I want THIS air-cooled classic!
Nice driving video, crunching all those gears! :)

Awesome
Someone teach that young man how to double clutch.
Watch the video of him driving the Packards, this kid is an amazing driver. I suspect this old relic just doesn't have much of a clutch left.
Not bad for almost a 100 years old.
Another 5min tow truck needed 😀
You know it only has rear brakes, right?
Of course, until 1928 and its chassis frame was of wood.

This is the way they all should be not made into something they never were.
Why in the world does he feel the need to revv the engine when he starts it? This is no ricky racer car.
Dis like poor gear changes!
